I can’t see the 250s clearing it. Just a bad designed jump when 250s can’t even clear it.

They are literally jumping it right now on the NBC SN broadcast.

If you watch the 250 motos you can see it.

Yeah I just saw. You are right. Lot of them coming up short though on outside line but yeah inside line seems to be better oddly.
It was a stupid post I made. I was just venting and playing around. I just think they should of made it a little shorter.

Only one guy had a problem that I seen. Let’s redesign the track because one guy had a problem.

More truth to that than most people realize...... sad, but very true

Its a very slow step up though that theyre clipping. Relatively safe compared to launching a 4th pinned triple.

I can tell you, and I was sitting with hs Dad who was commenting on it, Benny Bloss on a works KTM 450 as having to stretch it to make it.
Also, no idea what you saw on TV, but a large part of both the 250 and 450 field didn’t double it. It was a long leap with a short run.

Maybe the main line was getting worn down and the inside still had enough lip to get them over? You ever rode glen helen after work on a thursday? What shitty line should i use this time?

People complain about tracks not separating riders enough. Then we have a minimally dangerous jump that separates guys....

Dave.....that big double in the back upper part of the track has been there for years. I mean quite a few years. Christian looked to of washed the front out on a heavily watered area......could have happened to anyone.

Looked to me the left side of the face of the jump deteriorated pretty early on. I noticed the people that were clearing it later on in the motos usually hit it on the inside so they hit the face where there was still a decent lip. Thats just me spectating from my couch though.

Looked like a challenging step up IMO. Not the safest jump, but definitely not a circus jump.

Roczen cased it right behind him too, but like you said it's been there for years. Some people just wanna bitch and moan about anything and everything. If they went out and built the face up before every moto people would bitch that they were trying to make it Supercross. I liked it as an obstacle, it's how the outdoors should be imo. Prep the track before the first motos and besides watering, leave it as is for the rest of the day and try to find the fastest way around a deteriorating track.

Hope Christian Craig is alright. Leg looked messed up. It was nice to see that they did not excessive groom between motos or at intermission. Ruts, Bumps, and a tough track.........excellent racing with plenty of places to pass.

One year the landing ramp of that jump was cut down and there were so many passes through the section... Inside out and visa versa.

Tbh, the whole layout this year sucked. So many kink or slight corners fading back to the same direction hairpin, made it pretty one lined. Usually the back and forth of Glen Helen opens up the options but it was pretty ordinary this year.

Big jump but pretty safe really. How many people were casing it and not crashing? A lot of people were way way short and just bouncing off into the G-out. Hard landing but safe. The smart ones changed their lines to hit the better lip.
Not sure what happend to Craig but it may have been his fault and not the jump. Just saying.
