I don’t think that’s happening in 2019.

Im assuming this came about because the arenacross thing got shut down... i like that they went to gncc instead of another sx team. Ive always felt gncc was too big to not have more of that kind of support.

Bummer, I was hoping that it was going to be built upon instead of abandoned.

Nope, Babbitts is Kawasaki's East Coast support team while their West Coast support team is Precision Concepts, which has been on Kawasakis since around 2009.

Zach Bell is riding for Precision Concepts Racing, which is run by Robby Bell...and his father Bob Bell is the suspension side...but they aren't related to Zach, kinda funny.

That would be cool. I would love to see every manufacturer come out with a competitive XC model.

Good to hear that Zach is moving to Kaw. Can't believe Zach wasn't picked up by Rockstar Husky offroad. He was on 3bros support ride that whole time. Hopefully he got paid something from that. He road for the darn Trophy team at ISDE for crying out loud!

Sorry, off topic. Cool to see Josh on Babbits.

I could be wrong but I believe some compensation came through Husqvarna.

KTM and Husqvarna are facing some budget cuts across all off-road racing, so I'm not surprised to see it happen.

I haven’t seen anything that would indicate him going to off-road. Josh would be a very good off-road rider I’m just not sure he would be at factory rider level right away. I don’t know if he has previous off-road experience or not.

From my understanding, yes. Their Moto GP costs are going up a lot next year with hiring Pedrosa for testing and now supplying four full factory bikes a season for every race (Tech 3 deal).

That’s been the talk for a while but wonder what the holdup with Jordan is? Should’ve been part of the press reslease... good people, hope it hasn’t fell through

From my understanding Beta isn't handling things very well and could still be the holdup.

I also have heard Kawi is coming back to a full factory off road effort in 2020. Don’t know how true it is, but if JG gets his feet wet with some off road races in 2019 I wonder if they would pick him up for that.

That would be fantastic. The grassroots of Off-Road is growing once again. Exciting times.

Side note- Just re-watched the Score races from 2013. It was great to see the Honda, KTM and Precision Concepts duke it out in Baja before Kurt's passing.

Wut? I would hardly consider Big6 or WORCS "grass roots"...
