The Shop
misunderstood.
It feels like they have zero knowledge of marketing and branding.
If not, who gives a shit?
I know alot have ran the number prior, so
Does Hansen not fall under the 199 or 800 rule?
Or does Hansen just not stroke the right ego's?
Not hating...and I'm not advocating being an ass kisser, but that's not a great way to win friends or positively influence anybody with Feld, the AMA or anybody that might throw money at him and provide a ride. He's a little too late in the game to be a rebel.
He is about 15 years late... for a guy that never won a championship, thats a leap of faith right there.
Who would have thought that the straw that broke the camels back when it comes to starting a riders union was Josh Hansen not getting to run the number 100 on his plates?
God bless him for taking a stand against the man!
Plus in that tweet Hansen says that he will be back for SX 2016 so if earns points he will be SOL and won't be 100 in 2017 again.
Run what ya earn. Problem soved....
Brand yourself in some other way.
Hes says hes going to be back for supercross 2016, but then later in his post he says he will ne back in 2017 as the number 100.
Huh?
Im gonna send him one of the free calenders I got.
Pit Row
He puts forth some basic effort for the first time maybe ever and it doesn't automatically turn him into a winner so he packs up to cherry pick another series where it's easier to win and blames it all on a number.
in recent years they have disallowed you picking a 3 digit numbers, but the riders above got to keep theirs,
Hanny never had the right to run 100 full time, you have to score top 10 in points overall for a season to earn the right to do that,
I personally dont like the career numbers and would prefer to see them go back to the old way of the season points counting towards your number, but I can see the benefits of the marketing aspect of career numbers,
For reals? C'mon man, there's gotta be something else.
