It was sad to see Josh Grant hurt his knee, this happened to me also. And I know how bad he feels when he was about to become a front runner in the 450 class. He was crying when they asked him about it, he is a great rider.

I agree. At least he will have time to get some more tats, and work on his gang signs while the other guys are out there making $$.

Hope Grant gets it fixed and can land a ride in time for 2012. Seems like a good fit for H&H.

Motocross is a short career, and Grant know's that his time is about up, and he has a kid and wife to take care of. I know he has to be going through a tough time right now.

Exactly! Say what you want but the kid has a performance based pay plan with very little to no base salary. He has a wife and new born to feed. I'm sure at this point motivation is not his problem. That has to be a ton of pressure and stress.

BTW, who gives a shit about his tattoos?

Problem is he's always "about to become a front runner in the 450 class". For a while at JGR, it looked like injuries were behind him & he was right there with the front pack. It's too bad, developing a reputation as injury prone can really hurt chances in securing a ride, no matter how fast you are. IMO, the last rider to develop the same situation was Hepler, it's nice to see he saw the writing on the wall & is falling back on a plan B. Eventhough I really like seeing both of them ride, having a body damaged the rest of their lives for a few years of racing, IMO isn't worth it.

Yep, Grant's got a lot on his plate and when he's on his game, he's fast. I don't know anything about his pay plan at Honda, but I hope he can stay on with them in 2012. Shit, he may be pulling off with 3 laps to go as he's pushed his knee as far as possible, but at least he's not pulling off 3 laps in, whining about "not being comfortable with the bike" like frickin' Douchecell.

While I wouldnt wish any injury on any person, I cant stand Grant and his over the top arrogance. I wont miss him at all.

Grant signed a 2 year contract with Factory Honda, so you will see him on those Hondas again next year.

nope, just dont like the "F the world, Im a M-nFer motocrosser" attitude. While diversity and individuality is important, our sport needs more Canards, Dungeys, and Windhams and less Grants, Jlaws and Deegans.

Just my opinion.

Yea I will agree with you on that one. If Grant would have been more like Canard, Dungey, Windham he might would have a championship. Metal Mulisha is one of the worst things to ever happen to dirt bikes in general.

I'm just curious, do you know him personally or are you judging him based on what you've read on the web or heard from others? Much more often than not when I don't like someone I have never met, my opinion changes when I actually do meet them.

He may be the greatest guy in the world, in fact he probably is a very cool person. The fact is in the public eye *ie the media, he carries himself like a jackass.

That is extremely narrow minded.
