According to warthog on facebook, this is true
He fractured a vertebra and needed surgery
He'll be fine in the long run

Josh will be back, faster than ever. He works as hard at it as anyone ever has. He will still shock the sport in due time, just on a bit longer time-line than his supporters had hoped for.

For a kid that had never received free anything for his racing abilities, a 4th in one Lites Heat, a 8th in another, and 2 mains in 5 races is killing it, IMO. He is a credit to the entire end-to-end Warthog Racing Academy. Only one pro race before this SX season under his belt (a 17th and 19th in the 450 motos at the 2009 Southwick National), Josh first touched a SX track a short 15 weeks ago. And he was on as stock of a motor as the Lites races had seen in awhile. One awesome Jardine pipe and an ignition. A standard compression Vertex piston and that's it. Josh is the man, make no mistake.

And an assist to Chris O'Oneal for hooking Josh up with Warthog Racing. Thanks Chris, excellent call and support with Josh.

Here's to Josh having no pain and an ultra quick recovery . . .

Definitely.

Sucks that Josh is out but I'm very glad to hear that there is no loss of movement.
Hang in there Josh!!
