Only $10 for all 2024 SX, MX, and SMX series (regularly $30).
She's 18, went to high school full time until her graduation a few weeks ago (actually, finished school a semester early and walked with her class), had been limited to riding just on the weekends due to her school schedule, and her equipment was true privateer (no parts trickling over from Yamaha's race teams, no Star Racing YZ250F).
All in all, it's impressive that she was as close as she was in a pro debut (run-in with a rider early in the race, a mechanical issue on the last lap).

Could have been very bad! She did a GREAT job slowing and stopping safely. She was gutted, you could tell from her body language.
Respect.
Really, finishing the timed qualifying in the upper 40's is a good clean lap away from the upper 30's because 2 +/- seconds on a 2min+ lap isn't really far off at all. Hope to see it soon!
Unless you were thwarted ..... What you did not see was Carrie Coombs coming over and giving JJ a huge hug while pushing the bike back to the pits. PURE Class Carrie Coombs!!!
Coincidentally, this is my sister Carrie Joe's daughter Rozlind, not Jordan, but they were all down there to cheer her on...
And for what it's worth, Jordan Jarvis had passed up to fifth halfway through the first lap of the LCQ and was one spot away from getting into qualifying position when she collided with the guy in front of her in the first new woods section and went down. Then she had more problems of course. But in my opinion she is much closer to qualifying that you might think--I wouldn't be surprised if it happened in Florida!
Very impressed by this high school graduate, both on and off the track.

Vital thinking:
"Keefer will qualify no problem! Probably even score a point or two!"
"No way Jordan even comes close to qualifying"
