Cool, party do your blow hump your hookers and crash your rental. All thats fine when your at home not hurting anyone but yourself, but out in public OS a different story.

Dads don't like finding their 14-15 yrar old daughters getting stuck by a 20 year old kid. Flight attendence don't like their ass grabbed every time they walk by you. People on planes don't like it when your watching porno on your PC with the volume on full. Track owners and promoters don't like fire works being shot into the camping area at 2 am before a race. His act was funny when he was young, but he never learned respect and thats what kills him. He is a nice guy, but has zero respect for anyone.
Yeah I am sure he did everything you are saying he did. Uptite knows everything about everyone....

I've said this before.....

Have any of you guys ever considered the fact that he may not want anything to do with racing?
The guy obviously loves to ride and has natural skill most would kill for but the rest of the baggage that comes with racing at that level may not interest him.

To be honest, I hope he doesn't come back. Not because I have any problem with him, but for his sake. Whatever his issues were, whatever it was that made him fall off, whatever caused him to DNF/DNS all those races, it's over now and his ship has more or less sailed.

If I was looking out for JLaw, I'd tell him to get a bike, and go ride for the fun of it only. Local races, free riding, trails, whatever it was that made him enjoy riding dirtbikes. He'd have to get some income, of course, and that would be rough, but I think he's going to be better of riding for the fun of it rather than as a profession. Hopefully drugs aren't a continuing problem in his life either, but after the recent thread on pain meds, I wouldn't be surprised if (assuming he does have a problem with pain meds) he struggles with that for the rest of his life.

B-Hep is a hero in many ways. Hanging up the pro boots, going to school, and riding because he enjoys it. That demonstrates a whole level of maturity and smarts that not many others (at least at the very top level, I'm sure various privateers have traded in the box van for a backpack and books) have ever shown.

Jason Lawrence is, and will always be a charter member of the Team Shoulda-Coulda-Woulda. Yeah, he's (he was) a great talent...but what pisses most people off most is that he had talent most can only dream of, and he threw it away acting like an idiot, disrespecting pretty much everybody around him.

Seems like he had no respect for himself, his talent, or anybody else...even those who helped him.

Totally agree on Hepler. I think Brock Sellards has went on to bigger and better things as well.

I agree with you but is it fair for us to put OUR dreams on his shoulders?

He is just good on a dirt bike. Maybe he wants to be a rapper? He proved he sucks at that on Youtube but maybe that is or was his dream? We can't pick someone else's goals for them and we shouldn't hate them for not living as we would have lived or how we wish they would live.

I'm pretty good at looking at porn, not my goal and dream in life though. Others could only hope and pray to be as talented as I, but that's life for ya.

lol I agree with you Filter.

Zero respect for anyone? Really? The guy was always one of the first to donate to downed rider, show up at Loma Linda for the kids...

Nevermind, I'm done with this fight. If you only focus on the negative, that's all you will think he is. Fuck throwing in that five g for a van for a former rider, he flipped a rental car and lit off fireworks. Condem that mother f'er
I'll be the first to say he's done good for certain causes, but that doesnt ok all the other bad stuff he did. The bad things he's done in his past go way beyond what you mention.

I'll tell, i use to really like the guy until his act just got carried away.

It was a labor of love I couldn't have done it without all the good people behind me. I really want to thank 88sdad, slip dog, JW, Indmx, and so many others. My IPhone really hooked up to the internets, and my Comcast Internet service was smoking, my Avon nail clippers keep me typing fast. You know it's tough to stay focused out there with calls coming in and emails to return there were a lot of distractions comic into this week. Thankfully the guys over at MD2 have been working hard to keep me focused.

Thanks again and we'll be looking forward to next week. Hopefully we can use this as a building block and come back stronger than ever.

Is it just me, or is that DirtyFilter guy's podium speeches starting to sound robotic?

"I'd like to thank... blah, blah, blah.." Get a personality dude, sheesh.

I will ask Jlaw for you apparently he is second only to Mother Teresa and the Red Cross in his generosity. I can't make any promises.

Have you seen or touched any monkeys lately?

Thy should let Jlaw ride Hill's bike. If you think about it, RC and Carey are probably the best two guys in the industry to help Jlaw get back on track. Everyone knows Hart used to party, and look where he is now. It's the perfect fit.
