Just talked to Jimmy, for right now he is still full privateer but I'm sure he would love an offer.

Jimmy is a great rider, but are 2 top 10s good enough for a Geico ride?

If I was a racer....any racer IMO i'd always be shooting for a win. It cracks me up when a rider is interviewed (especially factory guys) and the say "Im shooting for a top ten or top 15" .....Doesn't sound like a drive to win it.......what happened to riders just flat out saying they want to win? Seems some are content with being in the top 10 or 15 which I know is a good thing for a rider to accomplish but it doesn't come of that they have enough confidence to win......Anyone else notice this?

This only Jimmy's FIRST year so...next year i expect his positions to improve at least three or four...and on a geico bike...he would be getting top ten every race...if he stays up....so i do think jimmy is a good choice....canard's contract is up.....and maybe metcalf so.....that is a possibility.......ya never know....if he does really good in the outdoors to...........

That's not what i was saying...I was saying that if he does really good in the outdoors.....Then he would have a better chance of a team picking him up.....

Jimmy is a good kid. He also loads of talent that could be molded, just my .02 cents.
