Good thing Hill got things going before the West break, otherwise this would've been a really bad look for him

Stoked for the rippa and the JGR squad

I won't even necessarily say he took advantage of other's misfortunes as much as he's just on the gas right now. He's looking very good out there and made some good passes

He rode great, no doubt and his 3rd is valid and was earned. But do you think he beats Forkner, Davalos, Smith, Cantrell, Ferrandis and (I feel like I'm forgetting another top guy who got swallowed up) on a night when there isn't carnage? I get it, there was carnage and he avoided it, rode better than those guys and earned it. But I think we have to admit that his great finish got some help.

Put an asterisk by it then.

He rode great and it was well deserved. Hopefully he can get a few more this year!

He qualified 4th fastest and got 3rd in his heat..........so I'd say he belongs up there regardless of who crashed out.

No asterisk is warranted and I never said he didn't deserve his finish. All I said was that he took advantage of the misfortunes of others. For that matter, Anderson has done the same thing. Why do people get so torn up and defensive over observations like this? You always earn and deserve your finish no matter how you got it.

He qualified 4th fastest, ahead of Forkner, Smith, Cantrell, so why could nt he beat them

He could. In fact, he did and he very well might do it again. But do you think he'll finish in front of those guys more often than not? And if one lap could definitively determine who would be faster after roughly 16 laps, why not just use qualifying to determine the champ? Why race the other 15 laps?

What a great ride by Jimmy D. I have to admit that I didn't think he'd be as good as on the Geico bike and he's already proving my ass wrong! Awesome to see him riding this well, hope he can maybe snag a win here soon.

As I mentioned in a different thread, I believe he stated in an interview that he was diagnosed with lime disease and after proper treatment is now 100% healthy for the first time in a long while. Consequently, his endurance is improved as well.

Great ride by Jimmy! Not too shabby for that POS RMZ250 that's slow and horrible Pinch Factory Suzuki was out of the 250 class for a few years, and their first year back....after 7 races, 1 Win and 2 podiums. Their first year back is already a success. Good for them.

Watch how bad he got pull by Osbourne after he tipped over. They drag raced down the start straight and it looked like that RM was pulling a parachute

He mentioned on pulp he's a Vitard.
Btw Jimmy that was cool how you mentioned your Old Man on the podium. You speak sincere and thoughtful... Keen to see more of it.
