Positively, absolutely 110% obsessed with anything MOTO.
Whaaat, they’ll allow a TM out there? I don’t know anything about the rules for the 125 racing.
Also, isn’t RV gonna be out there this weekend too?

There was at least 1 TM in the race last year, so I imagine it should be fine
If it can't be fixed with a hammer, it's an electrical problem.

Is that TM frame the same as the 08 crf frame?

I think it’s anything as long as it’s new. No old buck and a quarters tho. Saw some posts giving Davie static because you can’t run a old cr, rm or kx.

Pretty sure the rule is it can be any be any brand so long as it's within like 3 years of the newest version of that bike or something.
That TM is bitchin though.
Now why would jimmy ride this when he just put together a fresh ti 125 rm build?

The statement on MX Sports says the final three years of production for those manufacturer's who no longer produce them. Could it be argued that the final three years of the old factory works bike models (RC's, SR's, OW's) are legal according to the rules?? They were a different model from the normal consumer models.
I don't think this was the intent but would be way cool to see if it were allowed.

You're correct. I thought it was 5 years for all the manufacturers.
Under the current rules the bikes must be production based model so works bike would not be allowed. Would be cool but either way I'm just pumped there's 2 strokes racing again.
I've seen the question asked a few times so here's a screenshot with the details.

I'm sure they intended for it to be the higher volume production models available to the public. I think the Can Am 125MX could be allowed though since Can Am still builds motorcycles .
I agree with this but I'm sure it would make it harder to get some of the bigger name/faster guys out there I would think...

Looking forward to standing track side with my 13 year old daughter and 14 year old nephew who both love riding. Been pumping them up for the 125 race. Looking forward to the show!
Im glad Villo is running the stock Yamaha forks on the 125. I wonder how stock the internals are?
