Damn. Didn’t know he was hurt again. Such a bummer. I have high hopes for Jett, but he’s been hurt a lot the past couple years.

We posted it over at MotoXAddicts. Good stuff. I think most fans have heard Jett's name (it's hard to forget) but a lot of people (even in the industry) I think would not know his face if they saw him at the grocery store. I think he's one of a VERY FEW amateur kids I'd give the "can't miss" label when he goes pro.

The kid should have been on a 125 this year.

Was he too young to go schoolboy 1 ?
I believe he wasn't allowed to race the 125. Last year and this year he rode schoolboy 1 on his supermini at supercross futures.

Thanks for the post, really feel bad for Jet.
He is saying he is too big for that bike, but has anyone seen Max Volhand ?

I think that Max is even bigger on a super mini.

Best of luck to Jet ! Always rooting for him.

You'd think Kawi would have learned from AC not to take your prodigy rider and go straight from Supermini to the 250. I know Jett has a 125 that was built for him and he's ridden it. I don't think Kawi will let him race it because they don't make one anymore, I could be wrong though.
These kids need a year minimum to make that transition on the 125 IMO. I know if he were my kid, Kawi would find a way for him to race 125s or he'd be on a different bike. Not my kid though, so I wish Jett the best of luck. He's insanely talented, bummed we won't see him at the ranch this year.

Why does he not ride one then? Im guessing Kawi has pushed him to ride Minis so they can claim more win at the expense of Jett's health? The kid clearly hates the mini.

Shouldn’t these guys be on 250f’s by now? Like roczen and herlings were racing 250s by 15. Jo shimoda is going to make his pro debut this year and he only turns 17 this year. Jett lawrence turns 16 in august and he will make his pro debut then. They have both been on 250f’s for the last 2 years.

Max is the best right now but against an healthy Reynolds i am not sure he could be the best. We will see when they both move up to the pro rank i believe in summer 2022.

But clearly kawi made a mistake and should have let reynold ride the 250 or the 125 this year.

These two dudes are the future !

PS: Can’t wait to see Shimoda and J.Lawrence this summer, wouldn’t surprise me they perform better than D,Drake or Masterpool

2022 sound like a long time for two kids who are both, what, 15 now?

Yep thanks i made a mistake, 2021 is what i was thinking. They need at least a full year and a half of 250f riding under their belts before moving up to the pro rank. So 2021 is the best option i believe.
However, they can race 2/3 pro races next summer just like Shimoda and Lawrence this summer.

Reynolds is born the April 24th 2004 and Vohland is born the March 16th 2003.

Btw, speaking of shimoda, here is an instagram video where he beats straight up Oldenburg at Fox raceway yesterday. Ok it’s just practice day but you can see the kid speed is no joke !

They normally do a year in B class, a year in A class then move to the Pro’s. Either way, glad to see him off the mini bikes.
