DC Shoes - Ronnie Faisst - FMX CR250 on ebay
This is a custom freestyle bike that was customized by Jesse James & crew of West Coast Choppers for the Metal Mulisha team. Ronnie "Kung Fu" Faisst rode it for a couple of passes in the 2005 Summer X Games. It only has a handful of miles on it. After his run, the bike was retired and given away as the grand prize in a contest put on by the D.V.S. company. There were many sponsors in on the project. Don't look for this type of machine on any showroom floor.
With an estimated $34K in aftermarket parts and technology, this thing is a beast. The frame is reinforced. The engine is built. Engine Customization & labor valued at approximately $20K. The suspension kit (front forks and rear shock) is around $10K. Add another $2K in special racing parts. (Thanks to former shop manager Bill Swift for breaking this down for me back in the day) None of these numbers included the price of the donor stock model CR 250R. You can do the math and quickly realize what a bargain this would be for the opening bid. (This is a no reserve auction)
Almost everything is chrome, polished or anodized. It has a complete FG3 Diamond Suspension on it front and back, FMF Exhaust, steering dampner, custom seat, D.I.D. rims, custom air brushed plastics, modified air box, and hours of polishing. (swing arm, frame, brakes, kick starter, etc.) It's been sitting in my living room for 6 years now.

The Shop
Some SoCal flat biller will probably buy it with his dads money.
10G in suspension. Shit, it doesn't even have A-Kit suspension on it.
My offer would be whatever the bike is worth as a box stock 7 year CR250, LESS the time and money to replace all the shit messed up in the (snicker) "customisation". DAMN, that's a crime against humanity.
Time to step away from the potato chips.
all a true fmx bikes needs is a revalve and maybe some after market wheels aside form body mods for tricks...
faiist prob got this bik for free and promoted it for jesse james (durr)
Kind of like those full body panels of the early 90s
I forgot what they were called. I didn't mind those things .At least there were still room for numbers on the side of the bike
Anyone who has there own compound / land in SoCal def ain't a loser..
Pit Row
Oh..about the custom seat.....was that built for the "Best Trick" contest when some FMX tool busted out the "DRY HUMP SEAT PUMP"?
