This topic may have been discussed before but I am wanting to start a jersey collection of my favorite riders. What's the best way to go about that? I see occasional eBay auctions but they usually sky rocket the price. Is it best to order replicas and take them to the races and get them signed or what? I don't like begging a rider for a race worn jersey when they are trying to cool down after a race and assess the performance.
On the other end of the spectrum I see man friends, mechanic friends etc.. with fenders, full gear combos, helmets etc.. all provided to them for free.
Guess in moto memorabilia it is who ya know.
However, if you find a memorabilia outlet, please share with this vitard.
The Shop
I have 2000 or 2001 Pontiac Jeremy Mcgrath #2 jersey, that I got from him in person.
And my last one is a 1996 Doug Henry #15 Jersey that I got from him years later.
Sometimes you have to be in the right place at the right time, knowing the right people.
All of the jerseys are for sale as well.
