Yes was pretty good, only thing was I would have expected it to be longer. Got mine from Amazon cheap and passed it onto fellow motohead at work

I read that while I was in middle school. Very good to a 12 year old me
"What happens to your hands when you crash?"
"I put my hands up real quick to protect my sunglasses"
Awesome book. I have read it about 10 times over the years.
If only we could get one from rc, JS and chad as well
There are two kinds of people against dirt bikes, those who never tried and those who weren't good at them.
Awesome, thanks for the reviews. I will pull the trigger on buying a copy. Yeah I really hope Chad will do one in the near future when he wraps his career up.
I remember reading it about 10 years ago and when i started i couldn't put it down read right through until 3 or 4am i was about 22 but loved it!
Really looking forward to this book now. So many great personalities in the last 20 or so years, hopefully we will see more biographies put out one day.
I have read it multiple times over the years and have loved it! Does anybody know if there are any other good Moto autobiographies out there?

David Bailey's. Unfortunately, it has yet to be written.

Js7 would be REALLY interesting! From the struggles the family had when james was young to his suspension who led to the end of his career.
A book like that has to come right!?

Travis Pastrana has a great also, I read it a bunch as a kid. Give you a good insight into what really makes him tick and why he does the things he does. Definitely had a huge impact on me growing up.

Agreed. Read one copy so many times between me and my boy that l had to buy a freshie for Jeremy to sign.
Definitely a must read for motoheads.
Super cool book i read it over and over until it fell apart in 8th grade. I’ll always be a huge McGrath fan
Have always been meaning to read it. This thread reminded me so I finally bought one off Amazon. Looking forward to it's arrival after reading the comments here.
It’s an ok book to read if you’re a fan og MC or the 90’s mx/sx scene. Loved what we got. However, it is very poorly written, and I felt like there were things missing or not enough in depth. Also, the language used in it is pretty simple. It was cheap and I liked it enogh to finish it. Kind of wanted more though
there is a Josh Coppins book written by Andy McGechan that is pretty good,
I have read the McGrath one, and it is good,
no sure what ever happened to the Chad Reed book that was in the making,
Just wondering if anyone has read Jeremy McGrath’s biography ‘Wide Open’? and can tell me if it was a interesting worth while read or not?
Also if anyone has any other moto related biographies they could recommend that would be great ??
