He's super fast, no doubt. But to use the term, "insane" is not super accurate.

Not when you have a guy as pastrana's house hitting some huge jump and booting off a tree to land on the land pad or possibly die. Or you have a guy skydiving out of the stratosphere. Insane is also a better fit for the likes of Seth Enslow hitting a 150-200 ft jump into a pile of bikes..that happened 20 years ago btw.

To go fast: Great Eye Sight - Great Line Selection - Able to ride a gear or more higher - Corner Speed is more transitional with momentum rather than acceleration – commitment – confidence

What's insane about that is how insanely hard packed that seems to be. 1:23 and 2:09 was sketchy Tongue

I agree... Neat video and all, but it should be titled

"Unexceptional Video of Jeffrey Herlings practicing on a blue-groove windbeaten track somewhere in the mountain orchards of France"

can we ban this kook from posting links??

this guy has just ripped a video from February, uploaded to his own channel, pretended it happened recently and no doubt he'll be along in 1 days' time to "up" it....

here is the original version, like i said, from February... give credit to Maxime Lefevre (who didn't need to make any BS claims about it being "insane")

really pisses me off when people rip other people's work

Give the kid a break don't need to ban him straight up he's barely 13 years old or something , that being said your totally correct on the ripping part he does not need to do that shit. And give credit to whom credit is due

Where did he pass it off as his own or pretend it was recent?

Hell, if the kid thinks it's insane in his personal opinion (much like you opinion that it's not, key word, opinion), let him think that.

1. Jeffery is cool enough.. Sack up and come on over bud!!
2. That track looked TERRIBLE
3. WTF is with all the fence post lining the track?! That's not dangerous..
12/25/2013 12:23pm
Reply on 3. , almost every track in Belgium ,Holland and France is fenced that way with nylon cords going from post to post if you miss the tracks lining you can get severely burned

Gee you sure got me there... how am I ever going to finish my day without hanging myself, since I have been gotten so good.

I never made any statements about how fast Herlings was, nor am I a big fan of Blake Baggett. I simply said nothing in that video was insane.
What's next, your Pa can beat up my Pa?

The only insane thing about that video is how shitty the track is. N no way is baggett faster than herlings maybe pre wrist injury, but not now. Herlings should man up though n get his ass in supercross.

That track looked better than the hole we called a National in UT.

Slippery hard pack off chambers. Herlings is a BEAST!

I feel bad for the guy who was rippin the 2-stroke that day. Something tells me that he (or she) had a hard time getting the power to the ground.

The guy is a complete toolbag, he is prob spanking it over the fact that he finally posted a thread people are responding to, rather than him constantly bumping them up, and up and up and up. Dizzy

Looked like a practice day during the week at Saddleback in 1983...

Riding the extremes in terrain is good prep for the GPs, you need to be at home on that stuff for some of the French and Italian rounds. In general I like seeing the top riders deal with different terrain, you can really appreciate the technique and skill - as opposed to the usual media of pros railing nice big friendly loamy berms with copious amounts of traction everywhere.
