What if Herlings rode his mx2 bike in mx1 and beat everyone, would he still be sandbagging?Laughing
No mate he would not be bagging sand as he would be racing in the MX1 class.Blink

Pretty sure there are plenty of guys that would still call him a cherry picker for not racing "real competition" in the USA

Yep, even if he was to win a 450 SX main event and a round of the MXGP on a Honda C90 there would still be some people hating on him. That's the way it is unfortunately

Rumor is that KTM is petitioning to wave the age rule in MX2 so that Jeffrey can break the all time GP wins record while staying in MX2 his whole career! No one is saying he isn't fast enough to win MX1, he is, and that's why damn near everyone but his fan boys think he is a sandbagger.

This is just in: If you don't think he's a sandbagger, you're a fanboy. Only these 2 extremes are possible.

In my opinion they should lift the age rule as long as the class has full World Championship status. The age rule diminishes it.

Agreed. As posted earlier this week I think the age limit should be lifted from the MX2 class and introduced into the EMX 250 to try and boost numbers in the Gps,

I've been to Boekel several times too bad they took the big jump out, normally they would jump that after the opening lap.

It is unfortunately the truth in the eyes of many MX fans, he has nothing to prove since a couple years in GPs in 250.
That is why he needs for instance a new challenge like including the ama nationals in his program, to prove a new thing.
Actually I would not even mind if he stays in MX2 until 24 or 25 only if he was competing in both series, which would be exciting to watch.
Hopefully it is his last year in 250 and he keeps winning in 450. 100 is really possible, it is unfortunate that the more he stays in this class the more * there will be : many riders could have also pilled up wins in 125 back in the days, Everts, Albee, Tortelli, etc etc but they moved asap to the premier league.

The issue is also the number of riders in MX1, which was why I think this rule was introduced.

at Boekel MX Park in Belgium.

Is transworld motocross for real? When did Boekel leave the Netherlands?
