What was the cause of the heel injury again? Didn’t see it in the other thread wand curious as to how it got so bad.

He always has some weird crashes like this ^
Also-- why is he only mentioning PROMOTOCROSS in his post, Herlings to USA 2023!?
That is a massive shame, it felt so close that the stars were going to align and see him give a real go at the nationals. Lots of weird injuries over his career, hope there won’t be any more and we see him back up to warp speed again.

Wut? He he said, it is a bummer not to run the #1 plate in MXGP. Before he mentions ProMotorcross. But it would be cool to see him here in 2023

Jeffrey do yourself the best favor you can and get that sub Taylor joint fused, I went threw the same pain and lived with it and tried racing from 06-2011 and eventually the entire joint collapsed, that entire time I would wake up not able to walk till I got heat in the foot threw water or therapy, I never felt better then 60%. I got the foot fused and 8 months later I was able to jog and live a normal life. Get it fused.
In 06 I originally had it fixed by the #1 foot doctor in the world and at the time I wasn’t old enough for a fusion, it got me 4 years of painful racing in till the entire joint ate up half an inch of bone and created a pocket and collapsed, that’s when dr Alexander (one of the asterisk doctors in supercross) fused it and it fixed 90% of the pain and made it fine for racing. Your going to have plenty of time to heal up, racers don’t lose speed, fitness is the only thing u will need to regain. Get it done right.
Oh damn... The day after I bought plane tickets, race tickets and a VRBO for Thunder Valley. I hope he gets it right for next year, I think Jeff A has it right, get it fused since it isn't healing right already.
I do like that he says he's going to hit some pro moto at some point!!!

Thanks Mav, I had not seen this video before. Appreciate it!
Losing a full year in the prime of his career truly sucks... mx careers are so short as it is.. hope he heals fully and is ready to smesh in 23....

Trying to be optimistic, but expecting the announcement that Tomac is out any day now. With outdoors dropped from Peacock, that would probably be the last straw for my interest in outdoors this year.
dude.... don't cry ... there is still the 50/50 of Roczen lining up
maybe he throws the towel again but.... couple exciting race possible

Herlings IG has lot of videos him riding today with n.1 plate. Last day riding before he will get foot fixed. Too bad he couldnt ride Nationals.
