Anyone catch JA801's scrub second lap of the 450 lcq at A2? Still knows how to ride some dirt scooters that's for sure!

Yeah I saw it... and thought exactly that. He can still ride a dirt bike on a level most have no clue.

Just wondering why you would think he couldn't "still" ride a dirt bike? Huh

Injuries heal, and IMO talent doesn't go away, if you keep working at it. Jeff has been riding at a level most motocross riders only dream of, for over a decade.

Sweet pic for sure.

Then why are his results so shitty?

After taking years off of professional racing, he is fighting for spots in the 450 main event. He made a main event already this year. The field is/was stacked and there are factory riders who are fighting to make the mains right now. Even if you don't like the guy, his results "to me" have been good this year given the field he's competing with.

Don't know if I can remember Mike ever doing an actual scrub. Or whipping it either.

Despite Jeffs off track actions I really like his style on the bike and I find myself rooting for the dude.

I think he meant off a jump, not a roller.

I didn't see anyone else scrubbing that jump especially the way Jeff did it that lap.

lol I don't think I meant to throw that scrub so hard but in the heat of the battle I just threw it lower then I would ever normally do. It was pretty intense to say the least and im happy I held on and controlled it as good as I did. When your racing up front these days your putting it all out there, this was just my time to put it all on the track for the crowd. I too wish there was a picture of this actual scrub because it was the sweetest thing so far getting back on the bike.

He just showed up----why not address him directly?
Better yet, how about asking him in person?

I asked Jeff about that. He said he went around them once as Reed was going to lap him. He said he didn't want to get in his way.

Yea that's where I heard it. They made it sound like it was a safety issue with someone exiting and reentering the track.

It must have been a safety issue during practice, too, when about two thirds of the riders would go around them.

That's commonplace you know that. Not commonplace to skip them multiple times in the main

Weak cast bro. Pinch
Anyone who can even get into the night program at a SX event is a bad ass on a bike.
