At what point do people look at J Bone? I really like him but with the list of riders they have had and their resources, how haven’t they been a consistent contender? I don’t think he is the issue, but in any other sport he would have been fired. Just saying....

Good call captain obvious - 14 rounds into the season.

doesn't seem to have the touch that a Mitch does with these things. it's a truism, i know, but it takes more than rider talent.

Is JGR going to field a team next year? A lot of talk saying they might close the doors on the operation. With that said...would they have a better return on investment w/ Dean? More than likely. If they were to sign him, they could do a contract loaded w/ bonuses: Heat race wins, top 5 finishes, podium finishes and race wins/championships. For example: Say in 2020, he finishes in the Top 5 indoors and out. That could earn him an additional 150K if something like that was added to his contract. Provide incentives he is capable of obtaining. Guarantees good exposure for the team and gives him incentive to stay consistent, healthy and motivated. Bob Hannah was big on incentive laden bonuses; and it showed. He rode best when he knew he was getting paid. Justin Hill? Like the guy, great rider, lots of talent but probably paid a lot of money up front and regretfully it shows.

Hill is a rookie. Allow him to learn. JBone does a great job without elite riders.

It certainly doesn’t look good when Hill has accomplished nothing this season and you can’t find a video/Social Media/etc of him; Practicing, Training, Testing, etc. I can easily find stuff with him playing his guitar, looking stoned in interviews, releasing a Grunge album (Hello1995), I could go on.

Isn't Roczens contract with Honda over this year?
Could you imagine Roczen and Deano together at JGR.....

Yeah who could've predicted Hill would have a season like this when he put in so much effort when they hired him to ride the 250 class? If they didn't sign him to a performance based contract they go what they deserved.

Tyler bowers was right with what he said about JGR hiring riders that never made a podium. Said he just didn’t understand it.

It's seeming like Hill is the American version of Pourcel. Has the 1 lap speed to beat anyone, but rarely remembers how to do it in a race multiple times in a row.

It’s not like the blue and yellow bikes have had loads of success outside of JGR.

No idea what happened to hill in the race but he couldn't have been hurt too bad. He was out singing at honky tonk after the race.

If I’m JGR, I’m signing Joey Savatgy and Dean Wilson. They’ll be near the front next season.

Reed said he's coming back on Race Day Live.

Deano and Reed would be the best, every fan in the place rooting for them.

Hill can’t touch Pourcel’s jock.

JGR seems to have a team “personality” all their own. So far away from the MX Mecca’s of Cali & Florida...very, very low profile nestled in the NC woods. They’ve had such hype over the years because of their race shop & ability to make what they need...you’d think they’d be much more successful than they’ve been. Would replacing JBone be the answer to better talent acquisition? I don’t know.

Hill is in the second year of a two year deal, so it's easy to say that Deano should have had the ride this year but this was decided well before Dean's Husky deal fell apart.

They have admitted that JGR loses money. So you wonder why they do it and why bother with non podium potential riders? Pool the money together and get one top guy who maybe could win.

You guys are assuming JGR will be still fielding a race team for SX in the future.

That team has certainly had the worst luck, they couldn't even win with James...

Except they won the outdoor Championship and came in 2nd indoors under the last effort before them.

Now come on, don't go letting facts get in the way of a good story ?
