You can say the same for JT and RJ! Pride of Country still exists, even if you are in the booth. Great job to all!

Well, Dennis Rodman might have not been available, so Ricky Johnson will do.

JT is great. Hope they keep him around for years.
His only fault is he hangs out with Matthes loser.

Curious why Steve is a loser in your opinion?

What did Dylan say to prompt JTs comment ?
After winning the qualifying race Dylan said something along the lines of "the war between France and the US has started".

Also refreshing to listen to an American who knows his MXGP riders.

And what was JT's comment? Sorry I only saw Sunday's action.

Thanks everyone! What a weekend. The war stuff was all in jest, of course. War is a terrible thing that no one would ever wish on their worst enemy. Dylan is a really nice guy and seriously was incredible even with the crashes. It’s difficult to give everyone the credit they deserve especially when we need to cover what’s on the screen at the moment. I enjoyed every second of the opportunity and hope I get many more.

He said something like "Hey the last time there was a war we had to come rescue France"

It would have been a funny comment on a podcast with Matthes but for a TV broadcast I have to agree it was a bit inappropriate. Although I found Malin's response to be annoyingly snarky (he kind of scoffed and said "Typical comment")

The one about “if there wasn’t already a border crisis, there is now” had me rolling for hours

Dude you were awesome you both had some funny ass comments. I really enjoyed the commentary. One suggestion. Please call them lappers. Whatever they call them over there needs to stop. Oh and how the hell far is a meter. You can’t measure merican soil in meters.

That's pretty easy. One meter (m) is around 39 inches , 3,3 feet, or 1,1 yard.
Then you also have centimeters (cm), 100 centimeters are 1 meter.
Or decimetres (dm), 10 decimetres are 1 meter.
And kilometre (km), one kilometre are 1000 meter.
We also have inches, just not really used as much.

But I agree with the lappers, back markers sounds awful.

Have a nice day!

The thing i appreciate about JT is that you can tell he doesn't take opportunities for granted and puts his all into everything that he does. Very professional.

JT$ said something along the lines of "trust me, he doesn't want a war with the US".

Clear as day he wasn't being serious. That said, it did offend some people. Someone started a thread in non-moto about Malin's response to it.

You guys did an excellent job commentating.
Remember when Kevin Kelly would do an imitation of Paulin calling the race and kind of jokinh on the American riders in jest? Probably one of the funniest impersonations ever.

JT killed it and so did Malin for the most part. only thing that bugged me is when Malin was saying how amazing a few of the GP guys rides were in the MX2-MX3 moto and didn't say anything about how good Cooper did to finish 4th and win the MX2 overall.

also agree on the clear bias from Malin, JT was able to talk clearly and positively about the MXGP riders but it seemed like yanking teeth for him to give American riders credit.

JT has been delivering great understated zingers on Matthes for years. It would be easy to miss them because his comments are rarely overt. Love that approach.

About his job? You should care about that. Plus he has a direct line with the core audience right here on Vital.

JT$ greatest strength is that he is a hardcore fan, as passionate as any of us. It really translates.
