Trying to find this tool I saw Jarvis use in one of Haakers yotuube videos...

Anyone who has seen it somewhere? ;P Seems like a decent way to warm up the forearms!

Interesting. I always suffered less if I had the opportunity to spin a warm up lap.

Good catch, unique design, maybe home made?

Indeed, and at least when racing offroad races that is seldom an opportunity you get...

Well he hints at it being bought at TK Maxx, been unable to find it there though...

i used to cut a broom-stick, drill a hole in it, and tie a milk jug to it and fill it with water. you can adjust the weight by letting water in or out. roll it up and roll it down. bro.

This is what I do, too, but I just tie my helmet to it. Works great to get that first burn out of the way.

Ronnie Mac has something similar you should look into.

I do this too. Roll it up and down with your arms in the attack position and don't swim your elbows.
About four laps up and down on this thing and you'll have an appreciation for how good it is.

I cobbled mine together from the hardware store years ago:
31" long 1" diameter dowel and a length of 1/4" nylon rope.
About 6 pounds is ideal, maybe 8 or 10 pounds if you're a big beef cake.

FYI, water is 8.34 pounds per gallon.

You can try one of these, it really helped with forearm tendinitis.
