There were some on hybrid forks that used springs with air assist. I think that was only Showa forks though.

I guess japanese air forks are even deader than this thread.

There's one company out there who still runs air forks. Nobody seems to mind having to check the air pressure on those.

Star racing is on KYB PSF1 and two or three of the Geico boys are as well. Rock River is for both 250 riders and their 450 guy in Supercross. Ummm, I think Webb might be on it. Cole Seely is on KYB air. There's some smaller teams in SX that were on it.

MXGP wise, KYB air with 114 Honda (Lawrence and Vaessan), DRT Kawi (Sanayei and Searle), and a couple others.

Showa has nearly dropped using TAC forks, there's a couple stragglers out there but most are on spring now. Although most of those spring forks have an air assist ability.

I was skeptical to say the least. Have been extremely happy with mine...which are stock. I am amazed at how little, if any, the pressure fluctuates after letting them sit....half the time I don’t even bother to check them.

Rode my bros cone valves, so awesome. Just can not justify the dollars .

I can tell you first hand a set of well setup air forks are much better than poorly setup cone valves

Whats the 'air assist' do? Is it like a bottomout control/anti bottoming system?
