Went from 2005 til Seattle 09.
The only other races he lost other than that without crashing was Vegas (he didn't need to win to get the championship).
And A2 2010, but for god sakes he had a broken wrist thats extremely painful to ride with even once its healed!
Do you still think he'll "continue" this record? or will RV, Dungey, Canard, Kdub, Reed beat him straight up.
Discuss.

I think this year Reed, Villopoto, Dungey, Weimer, Canard, Grant, Windham and co are going to prove that Supercross isn't just about Stewart anymore.
It's gonna be great.
That being said i expect to see more races from him like unadilla moto 1. He was fast but not the fastest.

It's just an indication of James' approach to racing - win or crash. I suspect he's quite tired of not finishing seasons, plus he's a little older now. I think you'll see him take what he can get a little more often now.
I love watching James and I think he will win this year if he rides smart.
I hate this topic, to me it's irrelevant !! What matters in this sport is CHAMPIONSHIPS. If he learned to back it down just a tad now and again and didn't try to win every lap, I think he would have won every indoor championship he has competed in.
That said, I think RV lays down the PAIN in 2011, indoors and out, James or no James.
Stewart lost to RC many times straight up. And always lost where it counts the most, the championship.
And Yes he made a mistake last year,in traffic no less, which every one has done, hes used to being in front and made the mistake of scrubing in traffic, omg, he made a mistake! in a season were god knows how many top riders made mistakes and were out of the series! Why is he singled out, when you have Shorty with ZERO wins or Reed who has the record for most second places in SX! I much more respect a guy who hates to lose and goes Balls out,, remind you of anyone who was respected for his checkers or wreckers attitude as well? Bob Hannah!!
And another thing, how does a guy who apparently crashs so much hold the record for most 125 career wins?, and a perfect season on a 450!!! The only other doood in HISTORY other than the GOAT to complete a freaking perfect season!!!!!! Pretty damm good for a guy who rides faster than anyone else!
Would anyone here really respect Chad Reed if he won an SX title with only 2nd place wins?
wait what is a 2nd place win?
anyway if you end up with the most points at the end of a season you deserve the title no ifs ands or buts definately no faaarken asterisks
oh and are you R-acer?
Pit Row
R-acer? no always been Karma,
cheers.

Remember the fuel fiasco.
The AMA took away Ricky's points and the FIM
wanted to give them back.The Ama gave them back to Ricky.
They didn't want to have Ricky as the FIM champ & James as the AMA champ.

2 Championships (IMO should have been 3 if it wasn't for FIM & AMA politics)
1 Runner up.
2005 = crash out
2006 = made it to vegas
2007 = made it to vegas
2008 = crash out
2009 = made it to vegas
2010 = crash out
He has a 50% chance of making it to Vegas based on the past 6 seasons.
2 championships in 6 years is 33% win.........which means his stock has plummeted even further.....it used to be a 50% chance he would at least finish the season.
Either......I hope he does good this year. He got a couple vets who are gonna be on the gas....and a bunch of young guys out to prove something.
But if at A1 if he kills everyone, how suprised would you be?
I think he crashed over the finish line jump and snapped his collar bone in 2 places.
He still however won the SX championship that year (125 West),he won every race except A1 which i think he got 2nd at (Preston won that night).James won the championship that year by 59 points.
Something also happened in 2005 also,he scored no points in Vegas,that one slips my mind.I do know he won the previous week in Houston though.
Edit: Just looked up results,shows a DNf for Heat race 2 that night,DNS for the rest of the night for him.
If you get technical though, every race he lost due to crashes is a speed issue. You can't be speedy while laying on the ground. The laptimes don't lie.
