James Stewart RacerX interview!

Edited Date/Time 6/16/2014 11:52am
James sounds happy and confident to build off his 1-1 and get some more wins in the future. It also sounds like he may not be retiring after 2015 if he can keep himself in a competitive form. Here's too hoping he stays in winning form for many more years to come, this sport needs James Stewart to stay

Reminds me of Bubba back on KX 125s but if he's having fun and enjoying race then let him race but JS has had a long career, turned pro in 2002. I think it'd be cool to win the nationals title but at the same time I'm cheering for Canard since he's been out soooooooo long it seems.

Definitely a more mature Bubba. I said in the first two rounds I'd rather him get a 6th and ride cautious than go for it and eat dirt because now he's right back in it with a mistake from KRoc

I've always been a Js fan. These days with his good attitude and humility, I can't get enough of this dude. He is great for the sport and it's so fun to watch him race. We are lucky to have this guy around. I wish RV would get a little bit of this vibe going.

Hasn't James had some crazy bad crashes at Mt.Morris in the past? Must feel good for him to slay that track.

James is representing everything I like in a racer, he's impossible not to root for.

Yep. I used to not root for him but now I can't help but cheer him on. I guess in a sense it's because he's sort of an "underdog" because of the last couple seasons he's had

He says that every time he wins. He definitely would have needed it if the champ was racing.

I'd just like to see him crack a smile after a race sometime.

I'm thinking he's still eying McGraths 72 & with RV most likely going out of the picture next year - he will stick around as long as he's healthy.

James is old and past his prime...I love how he is whipping up on the youngsters that are just coming into their prime.
