Just hope he is ok. He looked like he was in pain when they showed him.

I thought it was all the fault of the Yamaha, he was supposed to dominate on the better Suzuki..

Man, that Suzuki is a POS and it just doesn't suit him. (sarcasm) Hopefully a lot of the Yamaha blame game stops after seeing that he crashes just as much on his Suz. Thats just James, said it all along.

I hope he is OK, I dont want the dude to get hurt. The Yamaha MAY have problems, but at this point I think its clear the Yamaha is not the main reason JS7 crashes regularly.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not dissing James, but man, he just can not seem to stay off the ground. It kind of sucks that once JS retires he is going to have the crasher tag attached to him forever.

You can't take that much time off an expect to keep up with guys who are racing in and outdoors. He is simply riding over his head at the highest level. Now, I think i going to go look for me a CHEAP leftover Yamaha that nobody wants! lol

Or you could use your head and ride within your limits like Dungey. It seems to be working for him even on a bike that half the people here said wouldn't win a race this year.

It's simple, crash or win.

I say he never sees another title. And that is not me being a douche. You gotta finish the motos to collect the title.

For some people they'll simply never be happy. Others havn't translated to the big bikes and have crashed sometimes more than JS7(some other riders on yellow in the past come to mind) yet people havn't tagged them with the crash tag. Not to mention this really is a "pre-season" for James.

Not to mention other riders would rather get the plague than ride the Yamaha not just James.

I think the zook has to much weight on the front tire.. Maybe the team should relocate the engine..

Joking aside, I feel for James.. I think his dynasty is OVER.. He may win a few more races here and there, but no more championships..

I guess maybe I was reluctant (like I always am) to attach a negative label to him, or any rider for that matter.

I don't think there has been any douchebaggery in this thread, with all due respect-some good humor perhaps, but no one is being a douche here. I don't think I'm being a douche when I make my own observation by saying that trying to run at top speed on a part time basis, or doing it just for fun doesn't work, because there is too much work that has to go on for it to be fun. He would be better just staying away from outdoor mx and focus on sx 2013 before he puts himself in a situation where he doesn't make it that far.

As for some of the criticism, it hasn't been out of line (yet, anyway-lets hope it doesn't de-generate to that). Of course the bike is going to come up-nature of the beast.

Ive always been a 259 Bubba fan and respected his talent on a bike, but lately I've been losing faith in him keeping it off the ground. I hope James is not hurt too badly.

The thing with JSE is he is sold as the second coming of Jesus. He has big shoes to fill. Not sure if it is even his own fault.Or maybe he does believe the hype. I blame the media as much as James' crew. He is expected to be able to start dead last, with a flat front tire, and still win by 20 seconds. When he doesn't he gets dogpiled.

Then you got a guy like Dungey, keeps his head down, his ego in check, and just hammers out the laps until it pays off.
8/18/2012 1:14pm
As much as I like watching him ride the dude seriously needs to consider walking away from the sport while he still can with his health relatively intact. He simply doesn't have it in him anymore to ride on that ragged edge and stay on two wheels like he used to (most of the time). He's just accumulating one injury after another with all of these crashes and it's going to catch up with him later on in his life.

Well said.

I don't even know that Stewart knows his limits any more. He probably feels in total control until it bites him. That's probably why his wrecks have become more serious over the last few years.
