Gotta be honest did not expect him to be running up front. He’s riding good and expect him to get better barring any injuries etc.
I’m not a huge fan of him. Think he’s a dirty rider from his ax days but it is still nice to see him make the transition and show some good speed.

Looks like he crashed right at the end of the main.

I think the ax guys are really use to banging bars but he hasn’t done that in sx.

Never liked Hayes myself either, but got to give it to him he is riding well. Can't take that away from him. Be a perfect teammate to Friese.

I had a good feeling about him Doing well
And i picked him for Fantasy at A1.
I havent heard what Happened at
Round 2 and they didnt say anything or show it on TV
But for some reason he lost like 10 positions on the last lap
Anyone know the story?

Crashed in a rhythm lane and then Lopes landed into his bike. After Hayes got up, his clutch was pointing straight up so he stopped and tried to beat it down, wouldn't budge so then he continued on.

I will admit, I am one of them. He raced a few outdoor races in 2018 and did awful, it made it easy to think he would not do too well in 2019.

I am glad to see him doing so well in SX. I realize he is an AX champ, but he seems like an underdog story for SX this year. Keep it up Jacob, elbows up.

Looks good, I just hope he keeps a clear head in any potential heat of the moment situations... or it might be one and done!
