Hey guys. I've really been enjoying making moto videos lately and your guys' support has been awesome, so thank you! Instead of posting a new thread every time I want to share a video with you, I figured I would just keep updating this thread and update the title whenever I get a new video out. If you guys have any suggestions on what you'd like to see, definitely let me know! It would be sweet to take you guys through the privateer off-season grind and maybe do some Pro National videos when the season rolls around. Unfortunately they don't allow personal GoPro's on National days, but I can at least take you through the hectic off-bike process.

Also, show more of the grind: You're daily routine, training, bike prep, etc. What goes into being a true privateer. Maybe even dealing with local tracks (seems like you have a lot of options there). Which ones you can ride for free, which ones you have to pay for, private facilities, etc.

I think the more you show (that is still focused on MX) the more viewers will be interested. Just some thoughts. Best of luck!

It would of be nice to see your HR overlay on latest video to see if the roughness of the track pushed your HR over your mid 160 HR on last track. Are you going to try a hard pack track with square edge bumps to see if it feels the same.

Surprisingly I find that my heart rate gets the highest when the track is really high-speed and smooth. I'm able to hang it out a lot more and be very aggressive which tends to be more of an aerobic workout. When the track is really rough, i'm definitely using a lot more strength, but it normally doesn't tax my lungs and heart as much. I guess it's kind of like comparing weight lifting to rowing. Weight lifting is harder on the muscles, but my heart rate doesn't get very high. Rowing makes my heart rate skyrocket, but i'm not usually sore after. My logic could be flawed there, but that's what I've found. I'll definitely put the heart rate on my upcoming videos so we can try to find a pattern!

I'll definitely take it out to some harder-packed tracks when I get a chance. Unfortunately, there's not much variation in dirt down here in SW Florida. Hopefully over winter break in December I can travel to some tracks further north.

New video up from 74 Family Fun Park! My big brother comes into town every Thanksgiving and we always head out to the track to see if he still knows how to ride. He used to be a ripper back in the day and made it to Loretta's in the A class in 2011. It's always a blast being able to ride with him again! We just focused on having fun today, so the motos were short and not super fast, but we had fun tossing some big whips. Enjoy!

Is there a reason why personal gopros are not allowed during nationals? Other than the rules are bs.

Thanks for making these about riding and not your half hour drive to the track and two minutes of riding thrown in. Much appreciated

I believe it's because NBCSports and Garmin have the rights to all media coverage of the event. If you want to take photos or video, you have to get special media credentials which is what Vital, RacerX, etc. do.

iMovie! On the videos that have the speed and heart rate info, I use the Garmin VIRB Edit app, but it seems like it compresses the videos a little more than iMovie which is why I haven't done it for every video.
