What happened to JT Racing? Not the original, the relaunched brand from a few years ago. I had a set of their relaunch gear and it was surprisingly pretty good. They seemed to be doing good and people were talking a lot about them and then nothing. Haven’t seen any pros wearing it since Norén and the MotoConcepts team wore it a few years ago. Have they closed up shop again?

My dad just got two sets of their gear a few weeks ago. He was pretty happy with it except for the gloves. The fit of the gloves really sucks

Back in the late 70's and up until the mid 80's JT Racing was the cats meow and all I wore back then.

They are still around. I love their gear. Its very durable (crash tested by me pinch ), fits really well, and has premium materials. I currently wear a set of 2018 Hyperlight Checker. The 2019 gear just posted on their website.

I've got a set that I'm running right now that is really good. I wear if for nostalgia purposes. But yeah, the gloves are really flimsy, just like they were in the 80s.

I have a couple sets, good stuff and nostalgia based these days. Good gear...Wore it back in the early/mid 80s. I like the 19 stuff and will pick up a set.

I just ordered my 5th set of JT gear and the quality has been great. First three sets are 5-years old and have had no problems with them at all. Some of the protective rubber on the gloves have come loose but they are 5-years old gloves. Customer service has been great as well. Ordered this latest set in the morning and they called that afternoon to say they were out of a size and gave me some options. Had the gear the next day to Florida and I'll be looking sharp for VMXdN at Farleigh in 4-days. No complaints here!

Sounds like they should hire someone new to do their marketing

Wish they would remake their iconic gear sets. While generation that didn’t get the chance to have it back then.

Sounds like they should just do some marketing

They need a new marketing campaign for sure. But they need to grow. They can't make it by just selling "retro" gear to us old guys. They need to focus on the younger rider more and throw in a "retro" design or two every year. It seems to work for Fox!

They have been going strong since they came back. Not as big as some of the other brands, but good stuff. I wore JT back in the day and have gone back to them since around 2012. Good stuff, and not everybody around you will have it on when you get to the track.
