After all the help he received from the AMA when he got his suspicion. He might want to tell them where to stick it. Or not, idk. But well deserved.

Never heard of him. Is it the same guy who has a podcast?

He was #259, so he must have been like 60 slower than that Pastrami guy. Then he got much faster and got 7th place!

To move up 252 numbers show just how awesome that guy was. But the best number a guy could get is #2 (1 is reserved for the guy currently leading) , so I guess Villopoto is the reaL goat.

In all seriousness, congrats to him. The guy pioneered so many things for today and revolutionizing our sport. Incredible racer, ballsy, fun, and talented. James deserves it

Not to derail the thread but I’ve been wondering about Glenn Coldenhoff running the 259. Is there a reason, just coincidence? I wouldn’t have the balls to put that number on my bike.

Glenn Coldenhoff was inspired by Stew in his youth and actually has the skills to run #259 in tribute. Amazing careers, style, and speed riding a dirt bike to the checkered flag in every race on two separate sides of this big rock we live on.
