It was a great ride tonight but really... what makes you think that James is gonna go 24 races outdoors without throwing it away a half dozen times when he hasn't done it in SX and/or any title since 09. In fact I'd about put money on him (If I had any) on him having another big dirt nap before the SX season is done. He's riding no different than he has for a very long time.

RV will more than likely make everyone his bitch outdoors, again.

The fact that he has gone 24-0 once means he has the best chance of doing it gain. Do I think it's going to happen? No. Simply because Villopoto wont't be intimidated by him. Do I want it to happen? Hell freakin yes.

James rides ridiculously close to the edge, and as we all know, he crosses that edge from time to time. Hell, even last night he he went over the edge more than once but was able to keep it off the ground.

Yeah difference is is that there was no one in 2008 near his speed, at all.

Now there are 5 guys who are right there, and he can't afford those mistakes. I don't think it's a coincidence that when there has been more than one guy that can about run his pace he hasn't delivered titles. I don't say he is win or crash period, but he does win and crash enough that he'll only beat one guy on his level to a title. Throw another 2-4 in there and his inconsistency is a problem.

By the same token with that logic if there were 2-4 people callable of running near his speed. It should be easier for him to win a title. When he is inconsistent they will be spreading the points around rather than the guy nipping at his heels always taking the W when James is off or playing lawn darts.

I think the main reason he has not delivered lately is Rv2. Rv2 is only a click off James speed (most nights) but far more consistent.

I felt so nostalgic watching the 450 main. Reminded me of the old James Stewart Supercross riding clinics of 2005-2007. Everyone looked like a bunch of JW381 squirrel's and he was just playing a video game.
