I noticed James hasn't posted anything on Twitter or Instagram since April 10th. Does anyone think the status of his appeal has anything to do with his current silence?

I would guess that he'd be bummed out after thinking, "I've finally got a target date for an answer..." only to have that rug pulled out from under him...again.

I hear that today is supposed to be the new version of "the deadline."

Fairly certain here that "funny" meant "peculiar" or "weird"...as opposed to the "haha" version of funny that you clearly interpreted that as.

You know if they are going to stick to their guns and make him wait until August , so be it but don't leave the poor dude hanging ! God damn it , tell him yes or no so he can at least figure what the hell he's doing for the next 4 months! I agree....total bullshit on not giving him an answer.

Talking to Big James on Saturday...they're still waiting.


I can tell that they're gonna jus' roll with it...whatever the decsion...and keep focusing on getting back out there, WHENEVER, and pick up the ball and get back out there.

Thru all of this, I've been impressed with how they've jus' kept doing their thing.

I hate to be the guy who screams SUE! But if they wait until 2 weeks (or less) before the outdoors to tell him the verdict of his appeal, then it's pretty clear they have a hard on for screwing with the guy, and he needs to let the courts handle it.

I'm no conspiracy theorist, but damn, com'on! It's pretty fuckin obvious at this point something is going on! It makes me wonder if it was anyone else but James if this would've been dealt with within a reasonable timeframe! Whether it's James himself or maybe his sponsors(hint hint redbull) that the FIM has it in for! Doesn't Monster sponsor the SX and MXGP series?Whistling

Its crazy to me how draconian this whole ordeal has been. Like James is caught in the grip of some shadow-y organization that operates based on how it feels that day rather than being fair and reasonable.

I was one who agreed with drug testing in sport, not just SX/MX but all sports and thought it was done reasonably fairly up until the past couple of months.

The JS7 saga has been handled like crap. Yes he done wrong, but 16 months was crazy and now the BS that is still going on is a load of crap.

Here in Australia a AFL football team was under investigation for their supplements program and every single player on the team was looking as though they have been using PED's via a supplement injections organised by someone with in the club.

Coaches have been banned for 12 months, people have been sacked, all 34 players at the time who were still playing for the team or had moved on to other teams all sat out this years pre-season games.

The AFL let every single one of them off, ASADA (The Australian Sports Anti Doping Agency) did not appeal the decision and now WADA have 20 days left to choose either to appeal the decision or let it go

If it was in individual player or just a couple they would have in my mind been rubbed out for a couple of years, but because it would destroy a club / team one of the oldest in the competition it seems all is fair.

If WADA don't step in, my opinion on drug testing will forever change.

He is still banned until August. Unless his team come up with something new I guess nothing's going to change that. The FIM are not keeping him hanging to see if he can start the outdoors or not. Their verdict is he can't.

I totally don't agree with communication on this, whether its the FIM delaying decisions or Team JS keeping quiet, its all shit for fans. His explanations to us so far have been unsatisfactory, lets hope he does better at the appeal but don't hold your breath.

JS fans need to stay realistic here. Yes you may have been thrown a lifeline with this appeal, but it could well be unsuccessful. The FIM penalty was in line with WADA guidelines so August is still most likely his return date.

I have been trying to keep up with some of this the best that I can and one thing keeps popping into my head that I don't think has been talked about by anyone. With me being in the health insurance industry, I can honestly say that someone is in violation of JS7's HIPPA rights. Has that been brought up anywhere? For those of you not knowing what the HIPPA Law is, google "HIPPA Law Violation" and take a peak. This is a pretty serious thing if someone leaked personal medical information that carries some pretty hefty fines and/or prison time. That, in my eyes has way more weight in a lawsuit then not telling him whether or not his appeal was approved or denied on a certain date. Maybe that is why JS7 is staying silent through all of this.
