Guy in the background is on the phone like “Uh yeah, I found that guy that was on the milk carton.”

I would love to see James come back to do a farewell Supercross tour. F#ck what place he finishes in. He deserves a proper retirement send off from his fans.

James is a legend, one of the best to ever swing a leg over a dirt bike and I want to see him sent off properly.

What's funny to me is that all the smart guys who post stuff like "here we go again" or "oh boy, the fanboys are going crazy" etc etc - are not quite smart enough to figure out WHY people go crazy when hearing something about the Stewarts possibly racing:
First - they are popular and even though some of the smart guys at Vital don't care, the masses of fans who buy tickets do care.
Second - the state of the sport and the personalities racing in it is dismal, absolutely desolate, and people are desperate to see someone like them back racing.

Exactly. Precisely what I said. Race if want to. Enjoy it. Celebrate an amazing career.

If this is today, James looks good. He looks like he did in 2012. I thought he was a little chunky when first switching to Suzuki. Look at his Outsider series. Then in 2014 I think he was rail thin and super fit. Heck, he looks thinner here than he did at start of the 16 season. In the face, at least.

Just glad to see him smiling to be honest!!

Same song and dance. Over this guy and that number.
But not over it enough to not post huh? You guys are so tired and predictable at this point. Don't like the guy? Fine, just skip the threads entirely. Everybody wins.

From the outside looking in, it seems that James has taken the time necessary to heal his body and brain from the traumatic brain injuries he suffered back to back.

I kinda agree. In 450s we have Kenny and Coop...maybe Jason... but not a whole lot of top tier talent with great personalities.. Marv, Eli, Blake are amazing but not great personalities that sell our sport.

I'd still be shocked to see him race professionally again, but it's great to see him and especially on a bike!

I mean it’s cool to see him back on a bike but I still think he’s not gonna be at A1.

You know that sound bite where Mcgrath says if only he stayed racing and rolled around enjoying it but his ego got in the way. I hope James could realize that but the internets might say, "oh he sucks now because he is not winning" but who cares what a few say. Who are they?
He is older than the new generation where words hurt so bad. Boohoo. So he needs to come out and have fun and/or publicly retire and still be able to hang at a few races enjoying the fans appreciation for his accomplishments on a bike.

That's the first image of JS7 on a bike in forever. This guy has been my hero since 2002. Forgive me if I'm just happy as f#ck right now. Smile I know it doesn't mean he's coming back for sure but who cares. This guy revolutionized our sport and he's been awol forever. Now he's in gear and on a sweet bike and on a beautiful track. I'm going to enjoy this.

Welcome back, James. In whatever capacity YOU choose that to be!!!

Great to see him on a bike! Such a legend.
No RedBull helmet? Wonder what's going on there. Also, Malcolm and James in the same exact kit...wondering if they will actually put together their own team.

Sadly you could be right and we won't see him race again. Hope he kicks Mookies motivation up and involves our sport again.
