Moto is infinitely better with Stew back in the family.

Stew would be good in an announcer/analyst position during the races.

I like James in this format.

Some are gonna say put him in the booth. i don't think it will work.

Line announcing is different and more difficult than most realize.

Having the ability to think about what you want to say and have the time to formulate an analysis compared to live analysis is two different animals.

Regardless, super cool he's doing this.

Im sure Stew doesnt want to travel every weekend to races.
Im happy to hear his view anyway.

Very good again.

I love the racers perspective. James even knows Cooper's laptimes so he is doing his homework for these.

It's great.

I love these from James. Great insight from one of the best ever. However and this is for the guys on the broadcast as well, 20 minutes is 20 minutes regardless of lap times. I totally get that the track breaks down more with a shorter lap time track and all I ask is that they articulate that and quit saying "how long" x amount of laps are.

edit: James mentions the cat and mouse between Justin and Eli and then basically goes a little fanboy on Eli but then mentions later Justin is still in the points picture which to me gives Justin every right to fight for that spot.

Agreed, its like a mental block to them when discussing how long 26 laps is. 20 mins plus 1 is the same plus or minus lets say 20 seconds regardless of the layout.

These are really great to listen to in the car. I sorta wish they would just start the race video instead of showing highlight reels of whichever rider he's talking about.

20 minutes is 20 minutes but an extra 6 laps means an extra 6 times through the whoops and harder/more tiring sections. Compare this track to a track 8-10 seconds longer. The longer track will have an extra straight and maybe another triple/ less demanding section

at 3:48 Cooper totally pulls up and lets Adam maintain his lead. Cooper going to repeat IMO.

And the guys that want to win will prepare for that.

Damn this was probably one of James best ones, his breakdown of Webb/AC was really, really good.

These are great. The laid back delivery from one of the fastest to ever race works very well for James Stewart.

For those debating the 20 minutes x how many laps that James mentioned, he also clarified that with shorter lap times there are less places to relax and catch a breath.

These are really great. James seems really relaxed and is so dang knowledgeable about the sport. He says stuff that us normal humans might not think about.

He is such a charasmic person and racer It just makes you realize the FIM/AMA sure did shoot themselves in the foot the way they mishandled his case.

It be like the NBA suspending Michael Jordan. My God, why would you do that to your number one money maker? Bunch of dummies! angry

But back to the good stuff.
James is doing a great job, and I enjoy it.
Thank you. smile

This does show the race craft that actually goes on at that level. When he calls situations out, just rewatch and think if you envisioned the same.

Exactly. I can’t stand when they’re in the booth and say that this is the longest main event when it’s 26 or 27 laps but it’s still 20 min plus one lap main event lol

Sure is great to have James back. It’s cool to hear what the FMOP has to say about the top guys and what they’re doing.
