Are you trying to say he was a drug addict? Or are you referencing his failed drug test?
I could care less about his PED use. I dont know if it helped him. And I dont think it hurt him. But I dont care considering his main rivals were all on the shit also.

He only got suspended because he was Red Bull. Certain Monster athletes failed the same tests and you never heard about it.

Well at least he "announced" his retirement in the most ass about way possible. "Now that I'm done racing".

I stopped watching after that when it turned into a "fuck I was so good" wank fest. This vid was definitely for the fanboys.

Did he at least end up thanking the hordes of fans that he is no doubt looking to milk something from now?

Didn't notice the camera shake.

Over the years he’s thanked his fans more than any other rider I can remember. “For the fans” was a staple statement of his on the podium. And he was “so good”. You want him to lie?

The first couple minutes of camera work reminded my of the YouPorn videos where the brother is spying on his step sister through the crack in the door and the camera is moving all around.

Or is it just me?

A true legend, and the most talented man I have seen on two wheels. It's great to hear the behind the scenes stuff.
Enjoyed it very much!

He also said what we've all been thinking. Nobody riding now has the win or die trying attitude. RV was the last of those kinds of guys. I get it. The championship is the goal for these teams and not race wins. Just glad someone of his caliber said it.
RV the most underrated rider of all time.

Webb has it and Roczen to an extent, but the guy who could hold the keys to the kingdom is Tomac and yeah he doesn't want it enough.

Bashed really ? it's a compliment when guys like Reed or Stew talk about you like that.

Have you heard what Stewart says about him ? Listen again.

I didn't notice the camera shake honestly so I'm not sure why so many people are up in arms over it.

Couple of things I'm genuinely curious about though, just based off the interview, because I don't know a whole lot about his early days.

Was he really raised in a ghetto? How did his dad afford bikes and racing? I grew up in a middle class family and my dad couldn't afford to buy any of us bikes. I worked at a grocery store as soon as I was old enough to get working papers, had 2 paper routes and cleaned up after wedding receptions to buy an old, used bike and afford to ride it. Did James really grow up in a ghetto? Like organized pitbull fighting going on in an abandoned warehouse down the block, drive by shootings, shoes draped over the power lines showing specific gang territory, etc? If so, that's pretty impressive of his dad to make the whole racing thing happen for him.

Did he really hang out with legit drug dealers who were selling heroin and crazy shit like that or did he have a buddy that sold some weed? Historically, kids that come from legit ghettos that end up being superstars are rappers, boxers, basketball players, etc. careers that basically cost zero money initially. How did Big James make the whole racing thing happen for him on strapped income living in a ghetto? Is that all real or is he exaggerating a bit?
This talks about his upbringing a bit

Didn’t like the part where he kind of made excuses for not beating Ricky. Liked how he still feels that chad wasn’t on his level

Chad rarely beat James unless James crashed. Which unfortunately happened fairly often. Seriously, chad was the guy who was “next best” to James and Ricky.

Great interview. Loved every second of it. The part about Triples to be scary as hell surprised me haha

He has a great sense of humor and looks like he matured a lot. Hopefully he will show up at some races to support his little brother.

I dont care about the camera, i just listened to the audio.

hopefully Red Bull can make a docu of him just like they're doing with MXWORLD right now.

Oh wow!! Thanks for posting that. Hats off to his dad for making that happen. I'm familiar with Stew's career, just never heard much about his upbringing. I can 100% say with full confidence that my old man would not be out collecting bottles and pop cans to buy fuel for my bike hahaha. That's some father of the year shit there.

I’ve never quite been sure how much of the poverty story to believe. They talk about having no money and all these jobs then his dad shows you how he has every bike James ever rode. How many poor families can afford to buy a new bike without trading in the old ones?

James had support from a very young age. I believe they kept the championship bikes, not every bike he ever rode.

I would love to see/ hear him as a guest in the booth for a supercross, and I think just his presence there would probably boost the ratings.

One of the legends we’ve been fortunate enough to watch. I feel pretty lucky to have been around to witness the McGrath-Carmichael-Reed-Stewart-Villopoto-Dungey era.

I didn't know about Fox 'investing' in him by buying/loaning him the money to buy the land. That was interesting.

That is the shittiest edit of a video that I have ever seen! I love the part talking about racing RC. I`m not going to make excuses, then proceeds to make a bunch of excuses, LOL!
