As my grandma would say...Can't beat shithouse honesty, lol. Think she meant shithouse luck, but I'll never know.

When did his age change? I’m going with it’s one of his old bikes, that’s even the style number he used then.

I don't disagree with his judgement on provenance, but Bubba was definitely not riding the class in 2000 when the 65 came out. He was 14-15 years old, and dominating Superminis.

He absolutely rode KX60s (as did everyone then)

I think we're overlooking the obvious issue with the CL post. The kid didn't like the way the two stroke sounded and went back to his four stroke? Wuck?

CL post should be for the kid, not the bike.

Forks look too stiff. Definitely James’ bike.

The 65 didn’t come out until 2001 I believe, and he was already done with all Minis by then. Could very well be one of his old bikes..... cool find.

James was most definitely not riding a 65. They came out in 2000, he was just getting on big bikes then and turned pro for the 2002 season.

96 models would have had a purple tank/rad shroud .. however that IS a 96 seat cover. 96 models did not have Any other purple than that, in stock trim. Interested still ?

That’s a 95 tank. 96s were purple. This is a Frankenbike. Missed matched plastics. Still a cool find.

But I remember stew lapping me at high point on 60s. (NOT 65s)
