Huh? Was there a press release about this?
its been openly discussed that savatgy is on the outs at kawasaki for cianciarulo. i feel its a mistake to let him go. im not saying cianciarulo should be outed a spot either. put 3 riders for 2020 and if ac out performs and places better than joey on joeys 2nd year? then fine.

What has AC done aside from finally win a regional SX title, hopefully, against a weak field? He is great on social media but very inconsistent on the track.

Kawi has alot more invested in Baby Jesus than Joey. Nothing against Joey, but they are betting the house on AC.

It seems like a coin flip when you consider teams lean more toward SX results. Before this year they were pretty much a split in SX. They've both won mains (6 for AC and 5 for Joey pre-2019) and thrown away titles.

But outdoors there is no contest. Joey has won 7 overalls outdoors to AC's 0. There is little doubt Joey is the more successful all around rider until AC locks down this title.

I thought Adam said in GuyB's Denver interview that 450s wasn't "at the top of the list" and he wanted to win some championships on 250s...

With the 450 class as top-heavy as it is, who could blame him?

Agreed. Before this year Joey has had a better 250 career than Adam, outdoors too. Joey has earned that ride this year. Have ac on a pc 450 or Honda, IMO it would be foolish to let go of Joey, he’s been top 3-5 most weekends

I know Ac won Budd's creek in 2017.

Genuinely laughed out loud at that .. i feel that AC is box office in a way that Savatgy just isnt, but Savatgy has had a solid rookie year, he wont be without a good ride.

From my understanding, he was saying he’s not concentrated on next season at this point and he wants to focus on what’s in front of him. He was not saying “I want to stay on 250s next year” at all.

Look up how many wins and titles he has in amatuers.. look at how many wins and social media interaction he has over joey. Racing is an advertisement. AC brought more results and revenue to kawasaki than joey has. And kawasaki has invested more money into AC than joey. Its really not that hard of an equation.

Did Nerd confirm this? After all, he's the one that claims to know everything that is going on at Kawi. Whistling

He’s been really good this year, he deserves a ride if they can make room for 3.

Some team is going to get a great value from Deano and Joey when they make the move. Both are solid every weekend and very deserving.

Joey will always be a second tier rider. He’s been impressively fast this year but he drops anchor relative to the front runners earlier in the race. Not many guys have been able to bridge the speed gap between where he’s at now and where webb roczen Tomac and Musquin are.

Savatgy is doing fantastic this year. He was getting up to speed and his fitness still but it’s getting there. He could be a contender for sure.
Crazy thing about this sport though is injuries. It sets back riders a year or more everytime they get hurt.

If he gets re-signed I just hope the team goes to Hooters to celebrate, for old times sake.

Injuries really do set the riders back much more than most realize. Not just the physical part but the mental part as well.

JS17 will do well no matter where he goes.

they'd be dumb to let savage go, but aT the same time, i think he'd make a great #2 at Honda. he could stay there and develop into a hard #1 (where craig and seely are both too mentally weak (downvote me IDGAF).

AC will need AT LEAST a year to get his navel gazing out of his system on 450s. it took cooper webb, what, two years? and cooper is mentally stronger than AC IMHO (downvote me IDGAF).
