Rest in Peace, Coy! Grateful for his ventures into the moto industry. It sucks not having JGRMX around these days.

Horrible.
He always came across as a character in interviews.
Always sounded like a genuine and honest person.
RIP

I feel fortunate to have gotten to know Coy a bit back in the JGR days. I have nothing but good things to say about the man and what he did for the sport of motocross.

Coy and his brother JD both died at age 49, I can’t imagine how devastated that family is right now, god bless the Gibbs family…

"Joe Gibbs lost his other son, J.D. Gibbs, in 2019. He died, also at the age of 49, after a long battle with a degenerative neurological disease, according to NASCAR."

I had the pleasure of working with Coy and J-bone during my time at Suzuki. He was a good man, from what I witnessed. RIP.

Very sad and unusual. Highs and lows of life in hours. Brings out the philosophical feelings. Left a legacy in MX/SX.
