The way he sounded on Pulp last night - really likes the team and bike, I would not be surprised if he ends up at JGR.

Even if he has another not so stellar season, his notoriety alone would make it worth the money IMO.

I have a question. Do long autograph lines generate real income. Not bashing on Reed, I’d like to see him on JGR for next season, but I keep reading about riders creating these huge autograph lines like they generate some kind of crazy revenue or something. Help me out here on how this works.

Not necessarily autograph lines but I’m sure he could do his vip experience again. That prob generated almost 200k by the end of the season. Not sure how many other riders would have people paying for that

Long lines = shitload of eyeballs. Teams have a better outcome when they have a shitload of eyeballs to present to potential sponsors.

Now, if only the powers that be realized that revenue made by selling team merchandise could help these teams out, maybe long lines would have a more direct impact. Don't see that changing any time soon.

Its a matter of the sponsors being seen. For the people who go to races that aren't vitards, they buy stuff their favorite rider promotes. Longer lines equals more people who see the stuff he promotes.

Good question even Reed him self said him and j bone were talking about that their yet to really see the proof money wise of having hugely popular social media platforms. He said during that whole week with jgr his own Instagram grew considerably as well as others in that circle.
Its definitely a good thing exposure for sponsors but some sort of results are still needed.wherher it be a few hole shots and top 10 finishes with a big smile on your face like he had this week not too mention he looks fit. He will definitely get a ride somewhere weather there or else we're. He looks and sounds the happiest he has been moto wise in a very long time. Check out Steve Mathess pulp interview with him its a good one.

Long autograph lines = more sponsorship dollars, so yes long lines = more revenue.
