I'll just throw this in there...

While I do know they've let some people go, I also know that we haven't received a press release saying that they're not racing. I'd guess that they're still trying to figure out how to go racing, and if we do see a release, we'll know they've exhausted every option.

Glad im not the only one with hope still! If they can just make it passed this pandemic and election year I think they'll have more options and companies willing to spend money.

I guess it may depend on if and when the 4-6 week lock down starts and what that will look like. A team would be sort of foolish to spend all the time and money preparing for a season that may not even begin due to government influence....
I would not be gambling a large amount of money to invest any any activity right now...way to much is still to unfold wit the new admin, and it all may be good if there is a vaccineSmile

Quick get some green, orange, and red bikes. Leave them as stock as possible and just try to make it to races and get results. Make a vLog. Throw the Hail Mary of a moto lifetime.

Not with an ill handling bike it’s not. Unless you’re James Stewart

Man, what a great video. Sad day. I remember it like it was yesterday that Josh Grant 450 win. And the OG riders Josh Summey, Gavin Graycyk, Josh Hanson, etc. Great team, great memories.

Brea, CA—Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. has concluded its partnership with Joe Gibbs Racing. The combined efforts of Suzuki and JGRMX were able to deliver solid results and raise the level of performance of each of the team’s riders.

Together, Suzuki and JGRMX demonstrated the potential of the Suzuki RM-Z250 and RM-Z450 motocross machines over several successful racing seasons.

“Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. is honored to have worked with a premier racing partner like Joe Gibbs Racing,” said Chris Wheeler, Suzuki’s MX Support Manager. “This partnership produced solid success and many strong friendships over the past several seasons and we would like to thank the entire team at JGRMX for their hard work, passion, and dedication to Suzuki racing.”

Wheeler added that Suzuki will announce its plans for the upcoming 2021 Supercross and Motocross racing season in the coming days.

Chad Reed proved the bike handles just fine! Quit yer whining and putting down people when they're already down.. so childish

Did Amart confide in you that his bike handled like crap? Is the 250 somehow handling way worse than the 450? When Chad can go out and score the highest finishes of any of their riders since, and amart wins a 250 moto, it sounds like you are just talking out of your ass and 100% biased.

There are no ill-handling 250s currently made.

What an absolute bummer. The music in that video explains the emotion. I can’t imagine what they’ve all been through. Just think of the pain when Peick got hurt. I can’t even imagine. They also had big highs like the high of having Stewart on the team early on. Those guys have put in some serious work. I really hate to see them go away. This sport needs to be going the other direction.

In my opinion JGR was the best "looking" team. The colors. The graphics. The Logos and team branding. The semis..... etc. I loved them. They seemed to have good racecraft but a lot of bad luck.

BUT....

How the hell can a team this professional just go belly up? Do we really need $1 million dollar rigs and 9 power washing stations with 19 employees at every race?

Just get a couple nice vans.... A tent and go fucking racing. Stop with the whole "have to bring a F1 team just to "feel" as big as the others". This traveling circus shit is not sustainable.

Its now happening in GNCC with the pit row tents. Every race there is another Huge 100x60 foot canopy to keep their girl friends hair dry.

I can't remember when i saw a new Suzuki on the track for the last time.
There more Beta's, the orginal GasGas, TM's etc. on the track than Suzuki's.
The ony class where Suzuki is seen often is the twin shock en pre 90 classes.
This year they are very succesfull in MotoGP so i think the money goes to roadracing, motocross is a very small market worldwide.
