Izzi as a host commentator....

Thought he was pretty damn good.

Canard, Larsen, Lawrence, RC, Izzi etc.....Denny and Emig, plus the King.

No more dumb athlete stereotype here. Home school must work.

Nice job Nico.

Nico IzzI is one of those reliable low maintance "OEM" kind of guys, a young man who IS acountable. If I was Keith McCarthy I would choose Nico for a one year 250f contract strong in icentive bounus's.

I should be an agent

I thought Canard did a great job for the Milville race. When I first heard him, I thought he sounded a little like RC!

i didn't think he was cut out for it. he didn't say much and didn't analyze much. Jason was trying to get him to engage in a little more analysis but he didn't really do that.

Canard was very good.

Langston is very good.

RC is very good.

James is quite good also.

Jason Thomas was good.

I thought the 450s where his microphone was dead/almost completely quiet was the best part of both of those.

They've had a lot of people that were much better, no offense to him it just didn't seem like something he was very comfortable with.

I didn't say he was John Madden.

I thought for a group of untrained first timers......they do a pretty damn good job.

I thought Nico did a fantastic job, especially for his first time ever doing anything like this.

Yep, and my opinion was that he didn't. Cool how that works isn't it?

I am sure with time and practice he may end up being good at it, he wasn't this time. Obviously the shows are fantastic though, and it wasn't as if this ruined it for me.

Will Nico be going back to #341 for next season? He will not score any points this year in the nationals so will he lose #20 or did he earn that as a "career" number last year?

While watching the Post Shows, my 10 year old asked what was wrong with Nico's shoulders, why he couldn't stand still.

He's a racer, not a commentator.

Nico will not get to keep #20. Unless he scores points he will be a 3 digit guy again next year.

I agree. I posted a similar thing about Short also. Even though they may not be having a good year due to injury , or poor results, I think these are the kind of guys that I would hire for the "reliability" factor.
