Don't be so quick to jump on this when Stewart takes a fall - it's going to happen. But the "feel/vibe" of the Suzuki is going to give him an old edge back, and his results will begin to look like catching up for lost time. You can count on it.
Yamaha needs a slimmer, more exotic 450. it's just that simple - the bike feels like a watercraft when you're sitting on it, not a slimmed up racing machine designed for speed and agility.

Edit to Add: If the PR on where he is landing doesn't drop today I'm going with this being a 7 pager, if it doesn't come till Tuesday or later, easy 10+ pages.
I also saw all kinds of guys hobbling around and supporting the sport Guys like RV, Kdub, Trey, Chad Reed...where was James? I am assume he was asked to come...poor on his part IMO-

It's less than 12 hours from the finale- why didnt they announce last night?
Here's to hoping for a good outdoor season! Go James!
As for the equipment comment- I like RC's last night...something to the point of well if this is what he needs then do it cause your running out of options...or something like that. Coming from a guy that got it done on every bike he swung a leg over-
Maybe JS has trouble communicating what he wants and what the bike is doing to his crew? I watched two factory team riders come in after practice at a Supercross last year and debrief with the mechanics and team mgr. One rider could not explain what the bike was doing to his team (but was not happy with it) while the other was articulate and specific in what his bike did and what he needed. The second rider had to do a Q&A with the first rider to try to help with the set up on his bike.
Maybe the fire has gone out of JS's belly?
Maybe that oft-talked about "chemistry" was not there. CR did not go well on the Kawi...while RV did pretty well on it.
There is no doubt that JGR has the resources, the smarts, and the level of commitment to do just fine thank you and that Yamaha has not forgotten how to build winning bikes. After all, JS did go very fast at times and win races this year.
It is just time to stop the finger pointing, to wish everyone well, and hope we see some killer outdoor races...
