I hate when people call Axo "A.X.O." Its not an accroynym, It's Axo, (Axe-Oh) and comes from the Italian word Asso, which means 'ace' and also 'winner' or 'champion'. They had this explanation on their website a while ago. Axo is an Italian company, and there's a town in Italy called Asso. Stop saying A.X.O. you goons.

How many people outside moto do you think know that Fox is a last name and that Thor stands for Torsten Hallman Original Racewear? Those would seem pretty silly if you didn't know and they weren't already around forever. I'll bet 50% of people that ride don't even know that.

And motocross pants and jerseys are 'kit', not 'a kit'.

And it's 'qualification', not 'quali'. And 'championship', not 'champs', although both of those are mainly British bastardisations, along with 'crosser' in reference to a motocross bike.

Ha! I was watching Atlanta sx last night with my in-laws, and they all thought that Thor was a superhero.

And its fraternity, not frat.
Tattoo, not tat.
Southern California, not SoCal or Cali.

Is it "the" hospital, or just hospital?
Is it vacation, or going on holiday?

from the AXO website.....AXO in the beginning was also written with the 3 Greek letters Alpha Chi Omega and that adds another meaning. Alpha and Omega are the first and last letter of the Greek alphabet and they are also meant to represent the beginning and the end. Therefore AXO is a complete choice in the X sports.
