Maybe something will happen with the TBA March 10 mxgp date in Argentina and jh84 could make an appearance at daytona.

Just kind of cool to imagine seeing someone who is a sand specialist at the one supercross that would take the least adjustment to be competitive.

Carry on with your petty name calling and silly squabbling.

I will just be over here picturing an epic battle between two awesome riders at the top of their games where the checkered flag never comes out.

It will be pretty cool to see Herlings ride a dirt bike just about anywhere in the world for the next 8-10 years. For Americans that opportunity will be at the GP's and MXDN. His desire to come over and race the AMA's best in their indoor "specialty" version of racing is nowhere near all of our desire to watch it. We didn't fully realize it at the time before it happened, but him coming to race that last national at Ironman last year was a very special thing.

This is a lot like the Macgregor / Mayweather fight. It just doesn't have anywhere near the money required to make it happen.

Here's to feeling good all the time

Well, maybe a mid-80's era Daytona track. Not this new stuff. The tracks back in the 80's there were quite brutal.

Although I would like to see this happen there is no way he would do a SX in the middle of his world championship series. Risk is not worth the reward.

Well... maybe they should make Daytona the USGP round? Wouldn't happen but if there was ever a SX event to do it at, Daytona would be the one.

This. X1000. They killed Daytona when they started bringing in all the red clay and making it look like most any other SX track. Yes, some of the turns are sandy but the 'ole gal definitely (or "defiantly" as it's usually spelled on Vital) ain't what she used to be.

If I had to pick a track for a Tomac Herlings showdown, Daytona would be my first pick.
