10/1 is usually moving day for riders. With all the MXoN talk I completely forgot about it. Also, what's up with Reed having a ride next year? JGR folding?

Based on Matthes' podcast with Reed it doesn't sound like anything with Suzuki will be announced anytime soon.

Seems like a decent bit of the 250 class is changing teams so maybe some of those changes will be announced?

Oldenberg is doing the Penrite Honda deal in AUS. I saw he posted that, could this land him anywhere on a Red bike in the USA in 20?

Like to see Mitch catch another stint somewhere. He’s got the goods, just needs to stay healthy.

If JGR folds I assume that puts Amart open as well?

Barcia and Plessinger are both signed with Yamaha for 2020.

Yeah, pretty much. Think he was hoping for a fill in to come along but there are too many other people who would get the spot before him, putting him into defacto retirement.

Depends on the kind of year he has in 2020. Ferrandis will most likely be replacing one of those two come 2021.

I am surprised Yamaha did not bounce Barcia out.

He's about the only person that can ride that bike, it tries to kill everyone else.

you are surprised they didn't bounce the only rider that has won recently and can win on it? I'm socked!

Yes, I am actually. Yes, he won a race, but they did not hire him to win A race. He has been around for a long time and has not really gotten any better.

Still one of the best and deserving of a factory ride. Plus he's one of the biggest names in American MX. It's his until someone shows they deserve it more. I get the feeling people aren't jumping through hoops to ride for Yamaha with multiple factory contracts on the table.

Not arguing at all. I know he's been hurt and stuff, but other guys have moved past him since he started riding the 450 class.

That's my guess as well. Ferrandis and Nichols. Nichols rode a 450 in Montreal last year and he looked pretty good on it.
