Is this a unicorn?

Sitting in a dealership on the wall, a brand new 1997 cr500 I believe to be "new old stock" aka never even assembled.

What would you guys even value this at? Cheers.

If that’s at Motosport in Hillsboro, someone offered them 18K for it and they refused it. Crazy.

I didn't realize they kept the steel frame on the 1997 CR500. I thought 1996 was the last year for steel frames as I had a 1996 CR250 steel frame and miss it. Sorry I got rid of it. I have a like new 2000 CR250 aluminum frame but I preferred the steel frame. Matter of fact I'm thinking of selling my 2000 CR250.

'89-01 CR500s are all the same basic design, with 93+ hitting annual BNG status.
