Our heros get hurt on a daily basis.

All we ever seem to do is argue across continents who has the fastest riders.

Tree huggers constantly try to fuck with us.

Manufacturers don't listen to us.

We bitch and moan that the gaming industry doesn't make the games we feel we deserve.

We get little to no mainstream media.

And the icing on the cake, we'll never know who was better over a season out of Carmichael or Everts. The two best that our sport has ever seen, who arguably hit their peaks at the same time, and all we can ever do is bench race about who was better.

And yet here we are. Loving this silly sport. It's mad really when you think of it. We put up with a lot of shit being motocross fans.

But our highs are crazy high. Of all the sports I've watched, none has that addictive quality that motocross has. Here's to the next fix.

It really is a pain in the ass to love but when your hooked it becomes really difficult to prioritize anything over it. Just a simple practice session is a big commitment compared to a lot of other hobbies . being a weekend warrior sucks. Consumed by day dreaming about riding all week just to get your stupid 2 days...

I must be full retard then. I've broke almost everything once , spent god knows how much money on the sport....and yet I keep doing it. It all boils down too....I don't care what the rest of the world thinks or what they do....I'm going to keep riding my bike , until I can't.

The days I've scraped myself off the ground to head to Emerg, I certainly think so. Always seem to get back on the bike eventually, though.

If I didn't ride I would not be a fan, now I know I suck and am beyond slow but on the rare occasion I clear a double or rail a berm, it amazes me what the pro's can do and make it look so easy. All the stuff that is not associated with riding is just dumb imo.

This sport is pretty stupid but a well known moto gp journalist once pointed out that motorcycle racing is the last of the motorsports that is truly wild. I think motocross is the wildest sport on the planet, and I absolutely love it.
