Come outdoors? He stayed healthy during sx. Had some good results. Can he get some top 5s or he’ll show that blazing speed he has had at times?

Yes
Wouldn’t be surprised if he pulled a race win somewhere.

He is the real deal! When the stars align..

I so hope he shows some form, not just because he’s British but because Suzuki!

I truly believe Max is a tier above Zach outdoors. If Zach can pull off the championship win, Max can too. Believe!

Zack has two titles outdoors that disagree with you , but I would not be surprised to see max won a mud moto or 2 , his ride at matterly basin at the des nations was next level

I tend to agree, Zach proved his worth.
Max has yet to put two good rides together in recent years.

Although I do want Max to pull some wins out of his hat.

He can podium. But he's in a bike/team disadvantage against the riders he'll race against in the top.

He'll be solid. I would have never expected him to do as well as he did in SX. In the GPs he would go something like 9-13-1-2-dnf-25 or so. He's been much more consistent in the US for some reason.
SX is obviously new to him and he's not really on the perfect team either. Looks like they do a good job with what they have but they don't even have a test track... He has been knocking on the top 10 indoors so he should be knocking at the top 3-5 outdoors.

Podium yes but unlikely. A win ? not a chance except a mudder.

The 450 class only goes about about 13-15 factory riders deep. Max did OK in supercross but also got lapped on numerous occasions. He rarely if ever beat the legit factory guys in the top 10. I honestly thought he would battle some of the fast guys in the top 10 but it didn't happen, He is fast outdoors and pulled some good starts last year. I f he does we could see some podiums. Ferrandis on the other hand will likely win motos and compete for podiums regularly

His bike will be 20lbs heavier than the one he won MXDN on....I suppose this is vital where the laws of physics dont matter.

So it's basically the same bike RC and Dungey and Roczen rode. So yea that kind of gets thrown out the window.

I think he can absolutely get top 3 in a moto and maybe overall. I love Suzuki, but I think it might be holding him back right now. Hopefully they can get that machine well-tuned and prove me wrong. If he was on a different bike I would absolutely say he can win motos. I'd put peak Anstie against almost anyone in the world.

"Unbeatable when the stars align" is a funny way to say the guy is very beatable. Everyone points to a race that happened 3.5 years ago in the rain as his shining moment. Zach, Eli, Roczen all have championships... Adam, Marvin, Sexton, and others all beat him easily. The "stars will align" for a maximum of one podium appearance for Anstie this year.

"When the stars align!" Any idea when that will be? Zach, Tomac, Webb, Marv and others don't give a damn.

Also the team is just not funded like the other proper factory teams. When the SX series had a two week break, everyone was testing outdoors but not Anstie because of various issues that are tied to the teams resources.

Yeah but considering his situation he did very well (imo). I expected him to miss several mains. He wasn't even in a single LCQ I believe. Came into the season injured. Hadn't raced SX in about a decade. That's about as long ago as when they built the bike he races on. lol

Rode. Past tense. 5 or more years ago.
