I can get one for $500

I think Jimmy Button one rode and won a bunch of amateur races on it back in the 80s lol.

Worth it to restore?

The one that BBR did is pretty sick> And they are fairly rare now too.

My dad just sold the one I rode growing up. It was in a box, and a friend of mine wanted to put it together for his daughter. He gave it back to us after she grew out of it, and it ran very very good.. If I remember right he got pretty good money out of it. And it was in really good condition.

If you really like the bike, hell yeah; restore it and have it as a showpiece in your garage. Jersey winters get uber-cold so you'll have something to do in the garage this winter. Just stock up on the Old Style and eat plenty of Wawa sandwiches...

I can`t help with your question... I remember these were rare as hens teeth over here back in the day. Not sure if Honda ever exported them here for retail or not, but there was a rider around the tracks i raced growing up that had one and it was like the holy grail... we were all so envious of it, it was super trick compared to our YZs and KXs. *It probably wasn`t really, but we all wanted it.
