I read it somewhere on Facebook (Argentinian media outlet). I know it's reliable but I figured someone here might have data.. who's after him?

Edit: *not reliable

AC is in the position to sign a new contract for next year and it will be long term. Kawasaki would have to be morons to not resign him. Sorry I meant morans.

Also, why would he go there? Okay, they‘re a Monster Team, but they‘re not had the best track record for the last few years. Would be a step down from Kawi.

I missed typing „not“. But as 434 mentioned they are a monster team and I don't see why they wouldn't offer something. That doesn't mean he is going there. Just curious to know if Yamaha is indeed after him..

AC9 on a Kawasaki is easily a top 5 rider in the 450 class and he's in his rookie year. The only way he'd switch to Yamaha is if he wants to be a top 10 rider.

Well, if a Argentinian media outlet said so, it must be true! Stamp it!

Lets be honest, we've seen similar before?
I can see it depends on how long Eli has left in the tank. If Eli is going to be about for a number of years more, then A) Can Kawasaki afford two top-tier riders? and Cool Will Adam settle for being the team's 2nd in command? Or will he want to be a Team's number one guy?

Adam has been good, but he hasn't won yet. Eli is winning, Eli is Kawi's number one guy right now and if things don't change Adam will always be number 2 to him. Number 2 for bike development, number 2 for salary.

IF Adam was to switch teams, he would almost certainly be number one guy, then its all about him. Bikes, funding, everything.

If Adam signs a long term contract with Kawi this off-season, then Id expect an Eli retirement announcement before long afterwards. Not immediately, but maybe one or two more seasons. If Adam signs a short term contract, then Eli is hanging around for a bit longer yet.

Wouldn´t be the first time Kawi let a top rider go (RC, Stewart). Although AC isn´t there yet.
But AC would be their long term project, right? But from what I´ve read, the YZF is better for tall riders..?

i think eli has 2 more years with Kawi. AC is still gonna have to prove to kawi he can stay healthy. we'll find out in outdoors.

While AC9's record when he finishes a series is impressive, his record of finishing a series without injury isn't. That would make him a tough sale to any team manager.

He's got the speed win championships, but seems a little fragile to bring them home. I don't see any bidding wars breaking out to sign him for next year. Especially to a long term contract.

AC in an interview said it's a one year deal essentially. (for 2020) He states next year is a mutual option. So in theory he could walk. Not sure he would want to move to a Yammy 450.

Could happen. We all thought Musquin and Webb wouldn't work but seems to be ok...

I would imagine a lot of manufacturers will be going after Adam but I highly doubt Kawasaki will let him go cheap as they have been investing in him for years. And it’s not like Kawasaki doesn’t have money, I remember RV saying one year Honda made him an offer but it was nowhere near what Kawasaki was paying him.

How forkner's SX championship ends up is going to have a lot to do with AC's deal for next season...

Plus Kawasaki has Monster funding and I'm sure they want to keep this kid on green.

Generally, and I say generally, most teams have a A rider and a B rider, Kawasaki (via Monster money) are able to afford two A riders in ET and AC, if Monster was to pull out of sponsoring then I could see AC going elsewhere

AC is Yamahas 2nd choice....right after me. I've got Reed beat by decades for age...and weight...well, I could lose a few. ...but man, I FLY at the test track. My mom tells me...so it must be true.

Monster could pull sponsorship from Yamaha and give it all to Kawasaki. Then Kawi they could easily afford Tomac and AC.

I wouldnt be shocked 1 bit if they keep forkner in the 250 class until eli retires and move him up with ac.

Monster are paying Yamaha's bills also. But Each team will only have a set amount to spend.
Will Kawasaki have enough to cover Eli AND Adam?

Good point. Did AP7 took a pay cut from Yamaha to resign for 2021? If so, then might afford AC9

If (and that's a big if) Eli wins the SX championship, does he ask for a salary increase? If so, can they afford AC9 and ET3?

Both Yamaha and Kawasaki have 1 spot open, correct?

We have to assume the offer was made in the middle, maybe towards the end of RV's career right??

Well by that time RV have amassed a whole bundle more championships in bothe 250s, 450s, indoors AND outdoors than Adam has/will have done.

Don't forget Ferrandis will move up next year and Yamaha will want to keep him over getting AC I think. DF has shown he has the speed and racecraft to beat any of the top 250 guys from the last few years.

AC to take Brayton’s spot at Honda next to his buddy Kenny. Stamp it.
