I can see it depends on how long Eli has left in the tank. If Eli is going to be about for a number of years more, then A) Can Kawasaki afford two top-tier riders? and Will Adam settle for being the team's 2nd in command? Or will he want to be a Team's number one guy?
Adam has been good, but he hasn't won yet. Eli is winning, Eli is Kawi's number one guy right now and if things don't change Adam will always be number 2 to him. Number 2 for bike development, number 2 for salary.
IF Adam was to switch teams, he would almost certainly be number one guy, then its all about him. Bikes, funding, everything.
If Adam signs a long term contract with Kawi this off-season, then Id expect an Eli retirement announcement before long afterwards. Not immediately, but maybe one or two more seasons. If Adam signs a short term contract, then Eli is hanging around for a bit longer yet.
But AC would be their long term project, right? But from what I´ve read, the YZF is better for tall riders..?
He's got the speed win championships, but seems a little fragile to bring them home. I don't see any bidding wars breaking out to sign him for next year. Especially to a long term contract.
And of course I’m kidding.

Will Kawasaki have enough to cover Eli AND Adam?
If (and that's a big if) Eli wins the SX championship, does he ask for a salary increase? If so, can they afford AC9 and ET3?
Both Yamaha and Kawasaki have 1 spot open, correct?
We have to assume the offer was made in the middle, maybe towards the end of RV's career right??
Well by that time RV have amassed a whole bundle more championships in bothe 250s, 450s, indoors AND outdoors than Adam has/will have done.
