Or is Eli just playing the long game and will go on a run when its time? Kenny’s holding back, Marv is healed and getting better...etc. Is this the case or is Coop now the best guy out there due to his proven results, commanding the races he wins, hes backed his wins up, won after a bad week, passing for the leads and winning, and its his to lose? Hes won 3 plus 2/3 at the triple crown and a heat race this weekend.

How many total sx wins does Marv have? Coop has to be closing in on him right?

Webb is reminding me of Villopoto in 2011. Back then RV wasn't the favorite going into the season, because Stewart was the fastest guy coming back from injury, Dungey was the champ and Reed was making his first comeback as a privateer and winning races. But RV kept winning and building confidence, the turning point was Atlanta when Reed and Stewart took each other out for the lead and RV went on to win, RVs confidence soared. Webb is doing that now. Each race he wins, the harder it will be to derail the momentum. His speed is right there with Eli, Ken or Marv and his fitness isn't an issue.

The field can't let him win a few more and stay on a roll or that 2 will be a 1 next season.

As of now he’s been the best but I don’t think we’ve seen a 100% Tomac and I think Kenny is still playing it super safe Give me a few more rounds to see if tomac improves or not

Anybody notice how tight Coop rode as soon as he got the points lead? Then the 9th place took the pressure off- nowhere to go but up, instead of nowhere to go but down. And he instantly got the flow back. Nobody knows how Coop will react to an extended dogfight for the title- I think he has the right mix, but he is at a crucial juncture.

Yes right now hes the best.

Once marv and eli heal from their injuries and eli figures out that new bike i think we will see the typical podium.

Also, whos to say webb lasts the entire season? We dont know if hes riding over his head or not to go that fast.

Marv has 17 total SX wins (11 250 and 6 450). Webb has 14 total SX wins (11 250 and 3 450).

So far, absolutely. It isn't even as close as the points suggest.

Exactly. That's why they award points each round.

Currently Roczen is the best 450 rider of 19'.

His starts are good.

Webb looks like MC on the bike. He hits everything perfectly and stays just a little lower in the air. He’s gonna be tough too beat whenever he gets a good start.

No Roczen is the best 450 rider right now.
How is it people constantly forget how the points system works nowadays.

He's the best starter by far... He's got to first corner first or second in 70% of his starts. You can't underestimate that. You trade starts with tomac and it would be Eli with all the wins. Eli needs work on starts all week. Nothing else.

I think all these guys are thinking “the series starts at Daytona”.

I imagine we will start hearing RC say that during the broadcast any time now.

(I just want to see 4 guys that are close to the same speed within 3 points of each other at Vegas...winner takes all.).

Geez.... The way Vital talks about Webb, one would think he can show up to Valkenswaard in March and stick it to Herlings... GrinningLaughing
